It is questionable for sure. 3-4 months is not enough time to build up a new candidate, let him or her go on campain tour and swing all those swing states around. Anybody who thinks Kamala Harris has better chances than Biden is probably delusional. Sure, maybe if they can pull another Obama out of the hat, but doesn't look like it. And even he had to gather support during the primaries. The only pro argument would be, that at this point any candidate who can speak 3 consecutive sencences without slipping or rambling should be a clear winner, on either side.

Before the debate, it was Biden's policies and tenure against Trump's legal battles and challenges. Even then, Biden was struggling but had some points in his favor. However, post-debate, the spotlight shifted solely to Biden's cognitive abilities (often euphemized as 'age'). Sadly, Biden has no compelling rebuttal on that front. There is no way for Biden to spin it and consequently, Trump is poised to surge ahead, leaving Biden powerless to catch up. If Biden stays, he will lose.

I like to go back and forth between mainstream media and alternative media, although I agree with the latter that there is too much cheerleading for one political party or the other and its leaders by the mainstream media (MSNBC & CNN for the Democrats and Fox for the Republicans). Now that MSNBC has refreshingly shown some critical thinking toward "their" party and president they get dumped on by the commentors here, who evidently want them to go back to cheerleading. The very fact that Republicans, even Trump really, are pretty silent about this issue, to me that indicates they think he is a threat to them. But they are not entirely sure... If they thought he was NO THREAT, they would be strongly encouraging him to stay. They are ambivalent, but no-one (except maybe Trump sometimes) is voicing concern either way.
