Yes. Thats what i had observed. A lot of oldie boxers came back again just because they might had been influenced by pacquiao who is fighting despite of his age just to prove he is still capable and they want to show it as well that they are capable in boxing too.
Nice get ES. Way to go being in the room with those great warriors. You are the eyes and ears of this boxing era. And us fans are lucky to have you. Your love and enthusiasm of the sport is infectious! Keep up the good work! 👍🏽🥊
Everyone would be afraid of Pacquiao if he wears 80s gloves. You think Pacquiao is already fast? Those lighter 80s gloves would make him look like Saitama 🥊
@@saipalomar8096 that’s your opinion but he said without manny boxing would be boring but we been getting some good fights without him i personally like watching tank or inoue more than manny
The right question is if you were on your prime which active boxer in this era would you like to fight 😂😂😂 bro asking a long retired legend to fight in this era is 😂😂😂😂😂
They’re right about boxing being a business now because Crawford vs Spence should have happened by now. Fight fans getting cheated out if real matches is what’s hurting the sport
A boxer even in their age is always dangerous. Bruce Lee once said: You have to be afraid of a thousand times kick than a thousand style of kick. Boxer punched a thousand time.
@@marshawk9766 Bro i know its been a year but i think the quote went like this "I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kick once, but i fear the man who has practiced 1 kick 10,00 times"
POUND 4 pound. GREATEST BOXER of all time. The ONLY 8 division champion in history. Resume speaks for itself. Pound for pound. If he was from 🇺🇸 or a different ethnicity, he would’ve been considered the GOAT the moment he got the 8th title. 50-0 has been done before, Chavez went almost 90 undefeated. He is a true champion and the GOAT for fighting the best of the best.
@@svh01 if we're talking pound for pound, manny takes that. Manny has done much more than Leonard with the smaller physical stature that he has... remember POUND for POUND..... If we're talking Head to head 1v1, I think Leonard should be favored because he's the bigger fighter... but that doesn't mean manny does not stand a chance either.... so pick your fighter but dont hate each other because of a speculation... lmfao
thats a lie, Leonard offered up 2 of The Hawks highest paydays and he turned it down. and he hadnt beat anybody atm. He even went on to turn Duran down too. Pryor didnt want the smoke. The HBO documentary lied to you.
@@lilpenny1982 it’s the truth , let me know and I can link you to the post fight interviews where he and Leonard’s ex trainer janks turned down him and Duran.
Fact: “There’s NO 3 doctors and we know someone from Nevada clinic that he was checked, and it isn’t that bad at all, period.” The TRUTH is, SPENCE TEAM are all so SCARED of PACQUIAO BEAST MODE for the TRAINING, for weeks now, as they saw how DEDICATED HE IS, and SUPER READY for their August 21 fight. Then as a Texan myself (from Dallas), I’ve heard from the people in the gym that they saw ERROL to have a HARD TIME with his SPARRING partner, that his main coach is very NERVOUS about his SPEED & POWER! Thats the REALITY of what’s happening now! To make the long story short, they do NOT want to LOSE the fight, like what happened to THURMAN. Have a great day to y’all.
Sugar ray leonard is the greatest fighters of all time .. If he was on today's era in his prime ..I'll tell u .am ' he 💯 surely will knockout all the fighters in today's era .. welterweight ,lightweight and middleweight...canelo ,Charlo , crawford, errol spence, teofimo, tank david,GGG,.. whoever doesn't mind ..he will beat them all no doubt about it "' That iam saying those past era fighters are really rare breed of a fighters.... that's why those past era fighters real beasts today's fighters have no chance against the Greatest sugar ray leonard.. living legend.bro.
Sugar Ray is right hes done his share in boxing. The fight game to Pacquiao aint a business-though. He fights champions! if it was about the money he wont fight spence he can fight a youtuber 😂
Prime Leonard at welterweight imo was goat, Duran at lightweight, Hagler at middleweight, Roy Jones at super middleweight, Ali at heavyweight... Legend's
Those three guys right there they where badass in there prime maybe even now lol but in there prime oh boy mike Tyson, Shane mosley, sugar ray Leonard,
So, Leonard thinks he had more heart than Manny? Really? Leonard had 40 fights, lost 10% of them, retired! Manny, at 42, 71 fights, still fighting young champions! Get real!
Leonard fought more elitw level boxers in 40 fights than Pacquiao in 80. Seriously, he fought Price, Mayweather, Geraldo, Hearns, Benitez, Hagler, Duran, Lalonde and so on. Pacquiao actually quit against Sanchez. Leonard never quit.
@@jhericulous3219 cuz he started really damn early he got two belts at flyweight and super bantam at age 18 and 21 before he was fully grown that's a two division headstart
Did he have a style? Sure I suppose he had his preferences but he adapted when he had to. I think it was his ring IQ that made him the champion that he is. Plus his guts and determination under fire. Of these three he figured a way to win against monsters like Tommy and Hagler. I don't think Mike or Shane did as well under adversity.
@@SpannerzIsHappy you can read it as many times as possible but that first line shows he does not know boxing. probably wasn't born when sugar ray was boxing .
Leonard is a fraud... Got his arse whipped to kingdom come... Then like the sneak snake he is he took on Duran when he shouldn't have. Should have waited for Duran to be in his prime... But if that was the case this lizard they call Leonard would have got Arse Whipping 2
No disrespect to those legends but very few of those welters back then would make it through a Pac Spence or Crawford fight. They bred different now. And Mayweather may not have had that 1 hitter quitter but he would beat all them older guys....well he beat Shane Mosley so...... Like Mosley said the guys back then fought with more heart or more emotion. Today fighters know u got to stay calm to fight. But guys who fought with their emotions on their sleeves made for more entertaining fights. They also did not fight with proper balance a lot of the times. They would load up ab throw with their full bodyweight behind the punch and have not defensive manuevre after for a follow through so a lot were ripe for the counter. They also fatigued faster so u heard about them getting their second wind. Roy Jones Jr talked about how much more well conditioned the fighters of today are than yesteryear. But entertainment wise the boxers played into the image of them outside and inside the ring. The average casual fan thinks of fighting as intense emotional exchanges of hostile opponent's to each other. Anyone trained in any martial art knows u need to be calm to effectively fight. That emotional stuff is good for the cameras and movies but bad for real situations.
@@spenser6353 He couldn't even touch Mayweather then how the hell is he going to beat Sugar Ray easily when he fought just like Floyd but was way more aggressive and faster. Come on dude seriously lmao. Ray would kill Manny and Floyd both.
@@newbiker2074 Manny couldn't even touch Floyd Mayweather dude. Sugar Ray Leonard fought like Floyd moved around and made himself hard to hit. He would easily give Manny too much trouble and easily Knock him out without any trouble.
This are the real boxers and fighters for their generation, and Manny Pacquiao transcends to three generations and now still fighting the best Pac and this all time greats are true warriors and fighters the epitome and the foundation of their league. That is why many of them said if there is one boxer that can compete in their era…it will be Manny Pacquiao…and is always on the conversation as one of the greatest… But for the boy who cried he is the best ever….not so much…
i heard that boxing federation is planning to change the size of the boxing ring to 100meter in each side for Mayweather to showcase his real talent the sweet science of boxing...🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
Im a Filipino but I don't want to compare paquio to them. They are all legends and I was looking the way they fought and not to their belt. Like manny they fought toe to toe and they are not afraid showing the real fighter.
The problem in today's boxing era is there's more actions between boxing fans vs boxing fans than boxers vs boxers🤣🤣🤣. Check out all the comments if you don't believe me 🤣🤣🤣
Boxing is the only sport where you can accomplish the most over any other guy, yet not be called the greatest. What kind of BS is that? Pacquiao is objectively the GOAT unless someone can name me a fighter who has broken more records than Manny? Who else won a bunch of titles along with 5 lineal titles in divisions much higher than where they started? Who else fought as many elite, future HOF fighters as Pacquiao? Not a single one.
SRL fought better opponents in his era, why would he want to fight anyone in this? Hearns, Duran, Benitez, Hagler would all be Champions in this era and dominate.
Like Pac and hes one of the best in this era but big no against SRL. He would KO Pac, too big, too fast and too strong. Wouldn't go past a few rounds of SRL went after him. He would walk through Pac.
boxing sucks today compared to boxing in the 80"s....floyd mayweather made boxing out of a business, not saying he cant fight...but at the same time he ruin boxing...and the only people thats gonna suffer is the fans from fighters ducking each other wanting more money
I think Pacquiao has got one of the best records ever, even though he was beat afew times, also i think he out pointed Mayweather.SRL is the mkst talented boxer I've seen in boxing,i can definitely see Leonard winning
Quit against Camacho? He was coming off a 6yr layoff after losing to a prime champion in Terry Norris & was well past his prime when he lost by tko to Camacho, and "no power?" He has 25 ko's of his 36 wins; that's 69%. Know what you're talking about before commenting #HoldThisL 👎🏽
