Saint-Petersburg is more for chill and drink. If you want real dance club life you must go to Moscow. Or find separate dance clubs in Saint-Petersburg, they located not in the city center, but in "sleeping" districts. For example "Play's" night club near "Narvskaya" metro station

I used to go out a lot clubbin in the 98-2004 :) they were fun, and definitely not a waste of time man. Also cafes and wing nights here in canada, perfect way to pass the winter and a lot of fun. Now yes, they're a waste of time, you have to book a 'table', everything is expensive and people are on their phones. People don't even talk to each other, that was the whole purpose of clubbing in the 90s, to chat, to make friends, to dance.
the algerian asked you 3 times if you have a friend there in st petersburg and you pretended like you didnt understand it, then ignored him and talked to random strangers. Then when he asked you a 4th time, you replied, "do You have a friend in St Petersbuourgh?!". So disrespectful that I think your colours shined through. Be more positive next, oh and im algerian too.
It's because the Algerian guys' English is not strong to ask the question in a more direct manner in the right moment,. The black guy filming he's busy holding the camera he's busy with his Attention doing all these : Walking trying focus on where is going Holding the Camera and talking to us the Viewers Trying to give attention to people on the streets walking passed for him to say some quick words to them. This job being an RU-vidr filming the streets of any country where not many people can speak basic English can make the job harder. The Algerian guy lacks understanding how to walk in the street in company of someone who is filming. We don't always get much attention when we say something or ask a question on the streets anyway. The black RU-vidr is smashing , amazing to see people liking him , liking the of colour of his skin and he is a brilliant communicator.

algeria is way behind in developement bcz of islam, and with development i dont mean economy, I mean soul-wise. Im algerian but I left them long ago, best decission ever. Its just no sense in wasting time with people who think they are the number 1 of the world when they are not.

Don't write nonsense! You know nothing about the education of these people. Knowledge or ignorance of English is not an indicator of education and good upbringing. Believe me, most of these people are much smarter, kinder and more educated than you.

But I agree with amine that its not save to go to a club being a black man, because the men there could regard him as some threat among their women. If you deny this, then you havent grasped the reality of russian society, it can get very ugly if you dont respect certain norms and being black among russian girls in a club can be an instant trigger for some racist drunktards.
