Mrs.K 18 minutes ago My granddad once threw me on his shoulders and walked on a swinging bridge and it scared me so bad. I was five. I never trusted him or anyone for that matter so for him to do this was a horrible nightmare which I suffered for many years. Then took a job in construction where I was often 300' up on top a bridge or building and got over my fear of heights and swinging things. But now the fear has returned, not of swinging things but of heights. I can't even drive over a bridge if it's a long one over water. I hate this fear has returned to me. Just thinking or imagining myself in high places causes me to get dizzy and a sinking feeling in my gut. So. I would love to walk this bridge 'alone'. No one in front of me or behind me, because I still trust no one. But I'd like to walk it and know I can.

When I was 5 my grandfather wouldn't walk over a swinging bridge, but I did !

Yeah the bridge is sort of like a bucket, so unless you intentionally climb over the railing you should be fine.

Omg yes! That should be an optional for visitors willing to pay extra for it lol I would def try it out with that kind of safety net in mind.
