Actually. I like the old kind of motovlogging. Remember Baron von Grumble rambling and grumbling about shit while doing his commuting into London? Those were the days!!! I still do this kind of timetravel and rewatch his old stuff. It's just the best!!! By now I usually just watch bike reviews and some special vloggers. That was btw the reason how I got to see your videos. Because I am huge fan of the GS Adventure. The first video of yours was the one where you had your then brandnew bike standing in your living room. I loved that and left you an subscription.
I totally agree people like the Baron do so well his channel could have been on 700k by now if he kept uploading. So many people have gone now it's a shame
@@buddysinsight9834 The sad thing is that I get why he is doing less, but I still would want him to do more. But I believe this 44teeth stuff gives him more joy?
My adventure riding journey has just begun so no advice from me I’m afraid 😂 But what you are doing is great 👍 5000 miles is probably more miles than I do a year I’m looking forward to seeing your journey 😊👍
Massive thumbs up for your honesty Buddy. The experiences you described match mine very closely, though I haven't yet ventured into fatherhood, and at the age of 35, I feel time is running out. Andy (Andy's Motorcycle Obsessions) just posted a video related to mental health also, and it so helps to realise you're not alone. Have enjoyed your content to-date and am sure however you go forward, people will enjoy what you do. All the best for your epic journey, and the new gnashers ;-) Chris.
Great video buddy. Its fantastic to hear your honesty and i wish you the very best. You have every opportunity to to live a very fulfilling life and appear to be going about it the right way. Your going to be confronted by haters and jealously but its your perception makes the difference...feel pity for them as they are obviously lacking something in their own lives. Keep up the good work!!!
Nice to have you back again dude. Really enjoyed your honest and informative vids, especially about the GSA!, the puncture repairs and everything... Don’t worry, you are most definitely not alone with your anxiety. I have been battling with my weight nearly all my life, and I tell you, not one day goes past when you don’t see a look in someone’s face, a comment somewhere or just the media ramming ‘the ideal size’ at you down your throat. So trying to shift weight has been an almost impossible task, and recently my brother has died, then shortly after that my Mum died, making me an orphan technically, so I turned to food as a crutch (they say it’s comfort eating), anyway, I haven’t ridden in over 10 years now, and sadly, I have some inheritance money from my Father and Mothers combined estate, and it will empower me. Finally, I can get my dream bike (yep, a GSA), and also allowing me to pursue a pipe dream of riding around the world. You’re damn right about adventure NEEDING to be achieved, I believe that 100%. So I’ll be looking forward to you Dentist run, sounds very exciting. And also I’ll check out RTWRoxie aswell - brave girl! Keep the content coming, they are welcomed and enjoyed, you have a very amiable, informative and relaxed style that is very refreshing. Plus, I like how you drop VERY handy tools and gadgets etc. Keep it up my friend. And best of British luck to you !! Matt
Great to see you back I'm looking forward to your trip and it was so brave of you to talk about your bullying nobody likes a bully you are a nice guy mate best wishes thanks tony
Was already a sub but now with bell included. I was singled out for my teeth throughout my secondary school life (canine teeth Infront looking like fang's). So many confidence issues continue to this day even though my fang's have gone, I still have horrendous teeth anxiety. Looking forward to this so much (I have looked at Croatia dentist's in the passed but couldn't afford it at the time).
Hi Buddy It takes guts and self confidence to open yourself up to the world and make public your frailties due to past experiences during your younger year's. It seems now that there has been a massive increase in people having mental health issues of one kind or another over the last 30 year's or so due to personal or work related issue's, I myself went through a dark period in my life, thankfully life is much better now and I have a bright outlook on life these day's. You'll have a fantastic time experiencing new thing's on your adventure, it will build your confidence in lots of different ways. You'll also discover that you weren't the one with the problem when you were young, or as an adult, it was the people that bullied you or have treated you badly in later year's, they are the one's that turn out to have their own mental health issue's due to whatever reason. The fact is, you'll meet lot's of friendly people on your travels that will be interested in you, they'll want to get to know you as a person with no pre judgements. Just go with an open mind ready to take on new challenges and experience new thing's and ways of life, your life will be much richer for the experience and hopefully give you a reason to have more positive thoughts than negative one's. I look forward to seeing your update video's, and no doubt you'll have a million dollar smile with your new pegs! Have fun! 😁👍 PS. Get rid of the shades, people want to see the whole you and be able to relate to you in many ways. 👍
Geoff Milne Thanks mate👍. You plug away for years keeping private about your personal issues and then one day you reach a point where it actually doesn’t matter. if people understand you more life I found improves. I think people with issues should be open and talk.
Just bumped into your channel and it’s something that you don’t see very often. Most of the people out there leave a fake perfect impression on life in general. Being opened makes you’re channelI special in my opinion. As i live in Bristol and go for rides around Costwalds quite often maybe we can meet on a Saturday to have a drink. Have a wonderful adventure and ll suggest you to include Romania on your trip if possible. All the best!
Super candid vlog. A great differentiator for yourself from the other content creators. All styles are great, I appreciate all pov. Mental health is great subject to highlight and promote. Well done mate. Keep being you, ride safe and enjoy the world. 🇦🇺👍🏻
Hey mate, good vid, your trip will be amazing! You need to setup a time delay for when your videos go live as it’s only showing in 360p to start with 😜
Buddy's Insight can you mount the camera looking at you somewhere more stable as it’s pretty shaky, not sure where you have mounted it but if you have room on your bars and use the GoPro bar mount it should be solid as a rock or maybe try mounting it to your mirror 👍
I use my hero session 5 mounted to my bars as it’s nice and small and battery lasts for ages, you can use the sound from your helmet cam which I’m guessing you will mic up 👍
Trading my bK1600b in for a gsa and that brought me to your videos..... and have to admit this particular one made me subscribe to your channel!!!!! Good on you mate!!!!! Looking forward to binge watching your videos now!!!!!
I can fully relate and understand that mate. I have been in that situation many times where I am shaking so much I feel like I will drop the bike. Good luck with your personal fight. Thats why I am doing this I think this adventure will change me for the better.
Just found you mate, my wife likes watching you so were good to go. Would love to see you do this trip as l want to myself, but wife insists on going in the car.
Just subsribed tonight and enjoying your vlogs. Wanting to practice with camera's on my bike (triple black 1200 gsa) How do you mount your selfie stick to your bike?
Daniel Taylor Thank you I am not much of a RU-vidr though really. It’s a bit of fun. Which camera I have a mount stuck on the Nav 6 housing and a selfie stick mounted using two brass pipe clips on the panniers. To make anything worth watching these days you need extra camera angles.
Cannot wait to see your up coming adventure videos. I've been to Antalya twice . Beautiful city with amazing views of the Mediterranean Sea. You will experience the amazing Turkish Hospitality. I might even be interested in finding out about the Dentist in Antalya. Any Dental work in the US is painfully expensive, especially porcelain work.
Becker Inal The Dental centre in Antalya has a superb reputation because of there high standards. They are picking me up each day in a air conditioned vehicle from a 5 star hotel called the Akra Barut. They organised it for €125 per night. I am very happy with that. One E Max porcelain crown here is £1300 and they charge £245. The first day is photographs and designing on a state of the art 3D screen. Day two is grinding for about 4 hours and then temporary plastic teeth fitted. Day three is fitting new crowns. This would take weeks and lots of visits here. What I really like is if you are not happy with something they will literally make you a new set. It’s all about keeping the high standards and a good reputation. I hate going to the dentist so getting it all done in one hit that can last up to 30 years is something I will put myself through. They give a 5 year guarantee. People think its for purely cosmetic reasons but trust me I need it all done. Good teeth makes a person healthier... I will let you know how I get on. One last thing these crowns are cut on a milling machine from a Cad program that takes minutes so it’s crazy how people charge so much money. You can see how much profit people make from this game.
I have the same bike buddy and I don't think you are too far from me and about the same age. I had some of my teeth done in Dubai... cheaper than the UK by a country mile. When you head off I'd be up for riding part way with you ( if my wife lets me!!) can't go all the way as I run a small business... my advice as someone who has travelled all over and to some really dangerous places is the obvious one... don't flash the cash and wear a cheap watch. Oh yeah and plenty of mosquito repellent!
Northern Roamer Thanks for that advice mate I appreciate it. I am soaking in every bit of advice I can get. I will hold you to a ride out sometime maybe next summer for a beer or two. I have to go solo on this one so don’t upset the wife lol👍
Nice one buddy :) awesome video huge improvement!! Looking forward to seeing more about this trip now I am back from mine :) now I have lots of editing to do haha
@@buddysinsight9834 that is normal, I watch mine back seeing all the mistakes too. You will be the biggest critic for your videos, it is a good thing :)
Afternoon mate, just watching your turkey trip, did you only do the 2 vids? I feel the same about a rtw or similar trip especially this year! Oh and you only only up the road from me
LAMBO 281 I have footage of my whole journey and even now I am gutted I didn’t ride it. It turned out to be the best thing I have ever done though Turkey is a special place. I still might ride there it’s one of those things I must do. Where do you live?
