4 squadded is the meta with this weekly, owl has a lot of synergy with different pets (bird of paradise, seagull+rice, llama, etc.)

Commenting too late to make a difference as these are likely all recorded already: Owl summoning a Mouse is a great value this week due to Rabbits and Llama existing. You keep one flex spot open for Llama buffs and it nets you 1/2/3 extra gold every turn and a +1/+1 (or +2 or +3) every turn from the apple alone, couple that with the Rabbit Health buff and you're off to the races.

Yeah this is definitely one of the weirder weeklies. Most of my 10 wins have been curb-stomps because other people just don't know what to do.

I know you scoffed at the owl, and I don't blame you cause I did the same thing at first, but I'm here to tell you it actually goes super hard this week. Normally you have to sacrifice the use of one unit in order to get it's ability because it summons a mouse, but this weekly synergizes really well with buying, selling, and running a four squad. The owl spawns a unit, which is one trigger option, you sell that unit, which is another potential trigger, you get one extra gold, just like a swan, and you get a free apple, like a better worm. It synergizes with the rabbit, llama, water buffalo, African penguin, crow, gerbil, and bird of paradise. Now, cause I know how much you like your counterfactuals, the owl pays you one gold to give you a +1/+1 buff. Level two owl pays you two gold to give you a +2/+2 buff. Now get this, level 3 owl pays you 3 gold to give you a +3/+3 buff. If you buy-sell with a bird of paradise...just saying...
