My Job is fully remote since 2015 when I got hired and they pay for my internet and cell phone. They alsl provided $500 a year for expenses I need related for working from home. Theh providd a new laptop evert 3 years and prividd unlimited vacation time. We alao get 1 month sabattical leave every 3 years. Its a 15 employee small business.

You start work the second you leave your house not when you arrive at work. Travelling back and forth is part of your job. So people are actually working 9-10hrs not 8 hrs. Do the salary/hr difference math old man. Add to that the ability to go run a quick errand without having to take time off, this is a monster benefit. Companies are going to have to figure out how to make this work because the ones who do will end up with the best workers.

why are these corporations so afraid of WFH. if employees have proven to get thir work done on time to a high standard and can still do this from home. whats the argument against WFH. obvisiully certain industries can't do this like manufacturing, retail ect. but and job that requires a computer can be done from home.

He sounds like a pimp. Just pay people, IF my input creates the same amount of value. Then pay me the same or at least cover the cost of a WeWorks space.

The dilligent typically work more from home. Companies have lower overhead & do not have to pay for meeting spaces. Also reduce HR workloads. It’s a win for a company with good people(merit based hiring) …

Working from an office is obsolete. Time wasted on lease, gas, travel, inconvenience.
