Could also include a Rookie Vs Vet game. A nice way to get a better look at the future of the league and Vets are best players to put them through their pacers, and everyone, mostly everyone, enjoys watching vets play. It will be a lot of fun.
Might actually be a better idea, I think US players make up a third of the EuroLeague, so that would be fair. Also, the east/west model is totally made up and I’m not married to it 😅
This is a good one. Great idea. I would like to see Smailagic at dunk contest. West and East should play for some kind of prize for their clubs, so that the game would have some hype.
I would ABSOLUTELY watch this. As someone who’s not overly familiar with the Euro league (other than when former NBA guys end up there), I’m totally on board and would LOVE to watch this!

The French All-star game is France vs World. For the ego of all the players both teams want to win it. We still have a lot of points at the end of the game but the second half is pretty competitive. Of course this format is not possible for the euroleague. But they found a way to have a competitive game so why can't the euroleague?
In France the schedule you describe is just happening, and honestly I seen a way better game than NBA all star game... They have to do it as if it is a good TV exposition. Euroleague is a superb competition... Hard to catch on TV
These teams should be on different sides, west/east wouldn't work... Barcelona/Real, Fener/Efes, Partizan/RedStar, Valencia/Baskonia, Oly/Panathinaikos, Milan/Virtus, Monaco/Asvel, Bayern/Alba, Zalgiris/Maccabi
1 all-star evening in Euroleague would be fun. But there are no conferences so East West doesn't make much sense tbh. So should do that draft system the NBA had. Also Shengelia as a reserve makes me think you've lost your marbles and clearly shows that the draft is the only way to go

I would do it a little differently. Just before the Final Four, I would organize an All-Star game as an introduction to the Final Four (3-point contest, dunk contest, and all-star game). I would organize the All-Star game like the NBA, where the two best players are voted for and they have the opportunity to pick up players.
3point contest would be the best! No dunk contest needed. Tha game should be only 2 quarters of 12min each. For the game not to be so long and potentially boring
I'd much rather they introduce a cup of some sort. Maybe like The Top 4 Teams from last year auto qualify and the other 14 teams play round robin (random draw 2 game combined result, winner proceeds). Then Last 7 Teams Play 1 game against each(Team that placed higher previous year in rankings gets home advantage) and then the top 4 join the top 4 from last season. Last Stage is long weekend(Thursday to Sunday). Thursday You play Playoffs, Friday you play Semis, Saturday you play 3rd place, Sunday you play 1st place. Long weekend venue can be the same venue as last years final 4 to attract cities to wanting to host or something.
In NBA Al star weekend made more money for entire organisation, in Euroleague that would be only one additional cost because does it not make sense in Europe
i alweys thought you gotta have some kind of value to all star games to make it worth an effort for the players. like maybe deciding home court advantage in the play-in tournament if east-west teams meet , or something similar value . in the NBA east-west would defiantly give home court advantage in the Finals to the winning side.
What about instead of a main 3 point contest, each team selects one player and he would do it in front of the home crowd before the game. Best 4 do it again in another home game or in the final four event.
I think the game should be divided between players who play in Nato aligned counties and ex-Warsaw pact countries. Instead of the usual American bullshit contests the players should compete in squid game like challenges. My vote for location would be Wuhan I think it would do a lot to rehabilitate the reputation of the city. Also we need a video on Sabonis getting snubbed for NBA all star WTF?

I think players have more than enough games in the season, i dont think some All-Star NBA like meaningless additional game is necessary. Euroleague is about one ball/game and passion...
Well that is good idea...last few years I think about it. There is alot nice things witch we can "steal" from NBA...like All star game...min and max selery cap...and something like draft weekend bifore season will be amazing. Many young players without good agent can apply participate and play for contact. I beleive some new stars can be there.

i think that euroleague if ever creates something like all star they should include 1v1,alongside with 3pt contest and all star game which should last 5 min a quarter lets say.No dunk contest lets leave that to nba since they are 100 times better at it

let's leave nba traditions to the nba... we don't need such events made for casuals because i believe there are less casual viewers in europe than in the nba, percentage-wise of course... people care about their local team over here, not individual players, so it would probably be a flop
Dubai will be all star team, so rest of the league can play all star game against them. If Europe win, they will go back to Asia forever and sell all players. If they win, all our players will start to work for free on oil platforms, for 2 years.
