@@Daxdax006 it’s because of the structure of the language. The two u’s in «turanpu» are technically silent. It’s why english words turned into japanese get a bit weird, but that’s not unique to Japan
@@Daxdax006 To give a more detailed answer, words in Japanese are divided into syllables not individual letters like English is. At a basic level, these syllables consist of one of their consonant sounds and one of their vowel sounds, or the Y sound followed by a vowel sound. For example trump is translated as "to-ra-n-pu" and is written トランプ. They are just translating foreign words into sounds that make sense in their language, which is a thing every language does. English doesn't have a lot of the sounds that Arabic or Xhosa have for example and yet we still occasionally have to use their words so we translate them into words that make sense for English.
The edits back to where you died is part of the reason I've been watching your videos for years. Truth is, I don't even like MM all that much, but your personality and the corpse run skip edits makes it my favorite thing to wake up to. I always watch (a part of) your MM videos before I get up, and it's a nice, fun, and relaxing start to my days. In case you read this, Ryu, thank you for the years of entertainment, and literal days of saved time from cut content from the corpse run edits.
He seems to be having said urge more and more often. I hope he understands that if he stopped editing I would be a lot less inclined to watch. It makes the videos a lot more bearable.
I think every single video he says something along the lines of "I always edit out the long boring parts, but just this 'once' I'm gonna show you all my pain"
@AndyWitmyer I see you didn't watch the short he made explaining the situation, short he made because some entitled people got mad about him not using the green screen
Why do people like to create intentionally miserable levels? It could also be more of a algorithm curation problem because Super Expert will pick up all these uncleared hot garbage levels and super tight tech levels. You always do great anyway Ryu ❤🙈
pretty sure the spring was for the big coin at the left of the spring, but if you grabbed that, you'd be softlocked, as you wouldn't be able to get back to the door on the right.
Is Ryu visually impaired? Homeboy always seems to miss something that is right in front of his face lol That spring was to go to the left after you picked it up Ryu..
I still enjoy Ryu's videos, but I think those soft kaizo levels are really getting boring. It's always the same linear "you press jump on this", "you press z on that" type of mundane stuff.
19:47 I don't really mind, but you've essentially said the same thing on a very difficult level every video for the last couple dozen videos lmao. It is NOT "just this once". It's like, once per video.
