We have to remember though God gave us all free will, not all will he ready. But keep working with the ones that are. The shooters are a lot of non-matured children, mentally and emotionally broken. Its our broken education system, broken family structures, with the last 2 years especially incapacitating. Mental health programs are not sufficient. They are lost souls

In the midst of insanity there resides a seed of hope, for no matter how much violence is cultivated, the force of grace is more powerful and transformative. This truth cannot be denied, perhaps hidden under layers of wounding, masquerading as victims entitled to vengeance, but not denied as the ultimate reality that rules us all. Vertical justice holds the balance and we have been given freedom to choose courage and embark on the challenging path of healing. Thank- you for an honest heart felt evaluation of the necessity at hand -letting go of indulgence and distortion which allows perversion to thrive, and most importantly rising up inside with strength and taking a firm stance which says clearly, doing harm is not acceptable!

I come from a country where women are more than wounded....all the time... they´re harassed then kidnapped , raped , even cut into pieces and then thrown as disposable objects....as garbage...they´re disappeared....(pardon my graphic description) so we all feel the pain caused by all these shootings in our neighbor country....so many latin americans who live in that wonderful city of Chicago. It is so sad all the people in pain right now...sad even to think what this young man(the shooter) had in his head ...maybe many years of exposure to violence or abuse ...It´s hard .to imagine how he fell from grace-. I am suffering from paranoid skizofrenia since 1980. I have been psychotic in the last several years full time. I can not control myself for speaking my pain out. I am so sorry for what I have written on the internet. There are many people who have tried to help me. But sometimes I burst out of pain. I dont know what to do and I have been living alone for 20 years.. I do everything I can to stop the negativity but I fail to do it. I listen to your videos
When someone is wounded and passes it onto someone else it is Shame-Dumping. Whether it is with violent words or violent acts, someone dumps their shame on the other, they pass over the shame that they carry and dump that shame energy on someone else. Then for a little while they feel better because they have blamed the other or even feel they have avenged their shame. This is why in healing, that shame must be lifted off spiritually.
This situation is so complex and I would hope that the media would show the parallels of these individuals. So many factors, some say SSRI's are a common theme with these individuals such as Zoloft and Prozac. How are these people falling through the cracks when law enforcement already knew these individuals? Our society has "wants" but not "needs" and lacks the capacity to educate young people how to manage their lives and emotions. It seems that people are so numb and desensitized to these horrors.
Many shooters have untreated or mistreated serious delusional disorders. Anti depressants don’t cause violence but they can accelerate psychosis, give energy, to persons who really need to be on anti psychotics.

And Caroline your words and your writings make me weep. I have never experienced that from the written word, weep, like the truth being put to sound and my soul knows it to be true. Some of the comments show how little people are ready to truly look within and see the truth of what we see shown to us under the veil of "politics" as if people get a pass to spread hate, violence and lack of unity and compassion for our fellow man. You cant put it all under a blanket and call it "politics" and have a pass. when you repeat the words of another and they are justified by others...those are not ready to truly look at the truth. It's a lack of human healthy behavior. That began long before the tragedies. In this time, we need therapists and mental health experts in every town and city freely available. It's the only chance we have of stopping these very sick people.
Wow. I had a great moment of awarness about wounding. I have wounded others because of my wounds. Yes, I would love it if there is a workshop on healing the wounds. Is there one? Sending love, blessings and a willingness to be in forgiveness and forgiving.
Wonderful message- so important. I have been shouting about the gun situation for 30 years- envisioning it getting worse and worse. We have arrived. I have written to many public officials requesting they make gun protections a Federal Law-to register with DMV ( just like car=lethal weapons), take a safety class, pay registration, have insurance-this way people are accountable, the police with track, and no AR15 or other assualt weapons. The peaceful people should have a voice and feel safe. No more bullying. Insanity. I somehow feel this low, low level we have come to will possibly turn around to a real change, if Dem. are elected majority. I would invite you, Caroline, and others to expand this powerful message from the perspective of equity rather than equality. We are all so very different and identify with such diversity. How do we address these issues with equity and conscientious and compassionate choices?
I recently read the premise that it is envy (deep-seated, subconscious envy) that drives a hatred of equality. Makes sense to me, and sadly envy is a chronic condition of many people, particularly those who have been deprived early in life of healthy, unconditional love.

Absolutely not! It's epidemic now, just recently I've been frustrated and disgusted by our lack of self control and consideration for others, is at an all time low. Truly, it is a far greater sin, a breaking of natural law, that I know there is a price to be paid for such juvenile behaviors. Allowing it in society, plays a part in making a whole generation of angry psychotic monsters. We need only blame ourselves for wanting to live unregulated, unrighteous lives.
