Doris At DF Designs I want to do a Clock but can’t figure out how to make it so you can’t see the movement behind it? I was thinking maybe I could paint the movement piece white but still you might be able to see it a little. Even though this one’s not really that transparent but I’m sure it would definitely show through a little? Thank you🥰♥️

@@sherrislife2046 no way to keep it from showing but not much shows really. Tuesday I'm demolding 2 clocks and showing how I make the hole bigger. Doing that at the beginning, before my hands get sticky lol

Doris At DF Designs I suppose I would want to make one that is not transparent at all then. I don’t want that piece to show through. I’ve used those same molds and I put scissors in the middle to make it bigger. I look forward to seeing your clocks unmolded.👍♥️ Thanks for getting back to me.

Janese Pitman I’m so curious how she designs hers to make them look the way they do. They look like stars and they’re so intense. I always tell her to show us on videos. I am addicted to molds LOL The problem is, I have so many. I have this big rubbermaid tub full of molds now. But I have to dump it out to find anything in it. Thank you so much Esteban I wait at least five or six hours until the resin is set. It doesn't have to be completely hard so five to six hours is a good time for it to harden a little. No, it just won’t work the same. It’s the Castin craft that does the magic.

Rubbing alcohol But you just got to make sure you get all the resin out as much as possible before it hardens and then I pour the alcohol in the bottles and shake a lot and it comes right out. The tips I soak it in alcohol. I’ve used these bottles three times over. I have used Ziploc bags and sandwich bags but there’s so much harder for me. I’m going to order some of those piping bags because they’re stronger and I’ve noticed they work really well. I might be able to handle those LOL

Joyce Wallace Sure I put about 1/4 cup of resin in each cup. For the white I used about 5 to 6 good drops of the castin craft and then 2 drops of the White alcohol ink and 2 drops of the pearl alcohol ink. The pearl alcohol ink is really not needed. Just gave it a little bit of sparkle but not much. The gold I put about 3 drops of the castin craft and about 1/4 teaspoon of the gold mica powder then 7or 8 drops of the gold alcohol ink. Thats it👍
