A little hunter fact that makes this happen a lot: If your pet is on defensive, any mob you tell it to attack will be added to a "queue". Lets say you accidentally send it on the wrong mob and you realize and then tell it to attack the right mob, after that mob dies the pet will go to the next target on the queue (ie the mob you told it to attack before the one its currently on). A lot of times hunters will send their pet on the wrong mob realize quickly and send it to the correct mob but fail to petpassive so right after the mob dies it B lines to the previous target. As a hunter if you send your pet on the wrong mob ALWAYS petpassive to reset the "queue". This does not happen if your pet is already set on passive, only defensive and aggressive.
Ctrl-0; ctrl-8 in quick succession IIRC (ctrl-0 being passive, ctrl-8 being aggressive)? Or just make a make a simple macro to handle it; /petpassive /petattack
@@sidyaking The thing his he insta FD (probably reflexe to let the tank have better aggro) but didn't insta hs, he was helping at first then he hs after like 20 to 30sec But yeah good explanation of how defensive on pet works, it's exactly that. But i really hope that this hunt know about to put a pet in passive in a dungeon, he is 60 like how did you live until now without knowing ^^
The hunter was a griefer. Did not even try to help. Typed his "my bad" for plausible deniability and got out first chance he got without taking any responsibility for his actions.
The issue wasn't the min-maxing. The issue was the person assigned to click the crystal didn't click it. Dej was specifically assigned to click the crystal and when they were saying for it to be clicked, that was his job. He just didn't do it. The call to click it was well before the enrage. Just need to have more than one person clicking it because apparently if you have 1 person assigned to clicking 1 thing, they can't handle it. Too complicated of a task ig....
As someone who raids once a decade I have never died to crystal don’t understand people failing it, only times my groups wiped in 15+ years is lord marrowgar who I had to tank on my hunter because tanks died we killed him so not complete wipe, spine of death wing and nzoth. I haven’t raided in dragon flight yet will probably do it when they release catchup gear before next expansion. Oh we might of also wiped in Ulduar can’t remember
I always wondered how I played so much wow in 2006-2009 since I get bored in like 20 minutes of retail but now I play classic hc 8-16 hours a day on top of working 12 hour shifts
The fact that not a single person in that gdkp went "huh, the timer is about to run out, I should probably click it". Have they never done this before?
Even if things were done properly you wouldn't wait until the last second. I'm baffled nobody freaked out on voice chat saying click!! long before it ran out, because there's no reason to delay it so much
@@e.p.s.9037 Yes, absolutely! No reason to maximise the time for each debuff anyways unless you absolutely cannot find more pylons, which won't be fixed by an extra second or two though.
Rule 101: NEVER TAKE A HUNTARD. Hunters are the cause of pretty much every potential dungeon deaths in these clips. They can never be trusted. Savix death = hunter
nah I play priest and tank almost all the time, for many years now, priest heals being my #1 I'm playing a hunter on hardcore I know how to tank, I know how to heal & those people deal with the biggest incompetent failures. I know exactly what not to do :) I'd say I'm a noob hunter too still, I haven't got anywhere near as much exposure to them as I do these other classes. But I still know how to play & I don't think your rule applies to me personally. Though I do admit there are a lot of really dumb hunters around.
Hunter used feignt death so there was no aggro into group, but tank pulled them anyway, so even if hunter did a mistake it wasnt a wipe situation at all
15:04 100% on purpose. Pet is on D and he clearly wasn't being attacked so the only way to send pet in on accident is to macro your pet attack with your spells and you accidently auto targeted the next target and attack it. The target that hunters pet was going after was NOT the "next" target, it was too far away. The hunter must have clicked that target manually in order to send his pet in that direction.
Some times it’s the rogues throwing knife followed by the words sucks to suck as our priest and mage get netted and killed. I’m a hunter but I had to run I couldn’t take 10 elites by myself and the pally and warrior already bolted😔
If you put the pet to attack something, you have to bring him back, if you just choose to attack another target, he will attack the first target after the second target dies, could be what happened.
Could very much be this. Ive had it where Ive pulled extra mobs, while alone, because I didnt realize sending an attack command before changing it; it causes the pet to attack the previous after your current target is dead unless you issue a follow command beforehand. People playing hunter because the leveling is easier than some other classes, but they have to learn the small nuances to stop accidental deaths. I dont blame the hunter if it was this as it isnt an explained mechanic and many players still dont know this, even if they main hunter. Small shit like this in vanilla WoW is what makes people die :(
WoW HC is the ultimate knowledge check game mode and yet so many people have no idea. How many clips of groups have we had not clearing sunken temple dragons for boss? I guess it's a dunning-kruger effect, they don't know how much they don't know about the game.
1:23 Isnt there a save spot just at the entrance to this boss? same wall just on the other side of the room. 1:45 I think that warrior made it to that spot what i think is a save spot. And i think If they alrdy blocked HearthBubble, they also should bann Petri flask. Its the same mechanic lol. So bann both or nothing. And im not saying this because im a paladin main. im totaly fine with BubbleHeart blocked. But then Petri does just the same, so i dont see why the one thing is allowed and the other isnt. And Petri doesent even have CD like bubble. so its even more OP.
@@James-bj2ni Oh man. English isnt my main language haha. Thats gonna be fun. And im far from knowing every single save spots. Also i heard they patched soem of those, so the mobs still can reach you. But it look slike they all made it out, so this one still got to be in there. You saw this wall the priest stood on? If you walk on this wall around the room, to the entrance, there is somwhere a Gap on this slope, it should be just over this gap. You can watch the mobs looking for the warrior, they try to reach him first.
@@James-bj2ni I did some research. its realy hard to find any List or something about where all the save spots are. there is no RU-vid Video, and also in Chats you find almost nothing.
I got called a griefer and reported for opening a chest before someone by literally clearing all the mobs in the area and getting there before they could (they killed 0 mobs, sat to the side waiting and some how didn't open the chest before I killed all the mobs and got the chest) they then went on to harass me for an hour using hate speech and all kinds of nonsense slurs and what not.
I don’t know how many times I’d pull a bunch of mobs for a chest or quest item only for people to take them. Same thing with pulling mobs I’ll send my pet and then people tag them before I can hit them
I agree with the poor feeling about petri-core being the meta, hopefully blizzard changes that leave group hearth from 1 min to 2 mins or something simple like that.
You just can’t hate on petris in hardcore. They are essential. If u run a group and someone grieves u at 60 you need an option to safe your life. You can still die very easy on 60 and that someone got to 60 is impressive. I disagree people saying petri is cheating.
Xar, I repeat, the harpy cave safe spot is fine, you just cannot be in melee range or in los for casters in range of mobs or they won't evade. Think about it, you know this. You have 100% done the ZF farm before, so you have to know this.
@@HamHamT Toxic would be if I'd insult him. I'm just peeved by him repeating the same thing over and over despite so many people having told him otherwise. It's frustrating to watch :D
That hunter was griefing, he feigned death so early, means he knew his pet was aggroing the mobs, and he was dead quiet. Didn't say "oh shit my pet aggrod." Didnt try to help. That is toxic.
Speaking as hunter main, pet on defensive only attacks mobs that are attacking the hunter. So the pet wouldnt go by its own in there. BUT there is a chance he like misclicked petattack macro. So either BAD or grief. Either way, dont dungeon with him :D
the thing about hunter is that its a perfect grief class cuz of feign death, and theres no way his pet was just on aggressive when it goes to pull at the end of the dungeon when you get locked in by a gate. Teenyviolin inspired motherfucker right there.
I could be a rank 1, world first etc etc IDC, not helping and watching someone die isn't griefing. Absolute bullshit if anyone has been reported and/or punished for not helping.
I'm almost certain the hunter has a macro that sends his pet with a skill he always uses; he hits the button, but the mob he was gonna hit was dead so it went to the next mob he could see and he sent his pet in without thinking about it.
There's nothing more satisfying than watching the skippers getting clonked, you dumb bunch of sausages and in ST of all places, how could they not know all those mobs would be pulled? Or as usual 1 person probably knew, said it to tank, tank just went zoom zoom
15:40 Griefer obv coz pet in defensive mode attacking only if you are enetering combat or being hit by some1. This was intentional sending a pet into mobs. I've played tons of time on a hunter so seen how different stances works. But even in a berserker mode there is a range at which pet would attacking - visually it's about 30 yards but keep in mind that if pet attacked one mobs which was killed he could start attacking other in aggro distance from his current position. Anyway his pet moved to the mob in ~100 yards or so which is impossible for any pet automated mods.
Actually switching attack targets queues the targets so if you send your pet to one mob then switch it will still go after the original target after the current is dead but the hunter did have enough time to cancel the attack
@@sasquatchsightings9456 For dungeons maybe. But i dont use defensive unless I am going to AFK. Otherwise I have full control of my pet. It always comes back to me after every kill and if I need to kill something else, it changes on my other buttons. I also bave a keybind for passive so I can call it back even mid fight.
i mean he named himself healfordays.. hes bound to do something stupid, just as shitsfordays did when he autowalked into whelps then starting raging at his team to "DO SOMETHING"
Just one question to the native English speakers: Why does everyone, virtually everyone, streaming WoW mispronounce the word hearth? Is it that obscure a word? Neither trying to be a know it all nor to cast shade, I'm just confused.
@@krual5013 Right, that's wrong though. It's pronounced like heart, not like hurt. Actually, I just Googled it myself. Hearth like hurt/earth is the proper pronunciation in (some?) Northern English and Scottish accents, hearth like heart is the proper pronunciation anywhere else but people who haven't heard it before supposedly say it like earth instinctively. Sometimes that just happens. The majority of people (German or not) put the stress on the wrong syllable when talking about the city of Berlin. Sometimes they even change the vowel sound. It's still wrong but people do it. Maybe that's just how languages change over time (quite a bit of time).
IMHO the hunter in the last clip probably had a macro that has his pet attack, and he accidently tab targeted a mob. I dont believe he did it on purpose as he panic feign deathed, THEN left his feign death to help dps. Had he stayed in feign death, then yyyyyyyya id say it was sus
"Pet was in defensive" Okay, what triggered pet to go out, what hit hunter and had pet go out like that OR was that just classic coding? In addition, he wasnt a 10-20 hunter, he was well past 35... if you have NEVER worked with your pet or ran a dungeon with your pet at THAT level, outright dismiss. You control your pet. The fact he FEIGNED instead of calling back or ANYTHINGELSE, moves it to grieving for me. Of all actions he had time for, he did NOTHING then feigned. Nah fam.
Would adding the ability to “loot” the person with all the loot be a good idea… I mean it ain’t part of the game… but the game wasn’t meant for hardcore… if you can hand off guild leader, why not hand off raid loot?
@@jyhina Not really, i tend to think that when something defeats something it means it ceases to make sense. Looting the raid leader to get the loot for the raid, doesn’t seem to get rid of hardcore. But my idea does roll back some of the experience of hardcore, but that experience is all made up at the end of the day. If it’s made up it can be changed
I cant figure out how people can play this. They play a warrior tank to level 60. Equip it and go raiding and die... I am not a rager at all but in the case... uhhh...
damn how many of these high level clips are people who should know better by now than to keep casting/attack shit on mobs you're running from, like for real just hands off abilities and RUN
that rogue is a good person but is actually bad lol. No Evasion, waited until 5% hp to pop sprint. Derrrrp. At least he popped a health pot I guess lol.
