Fishing offshore in the Gulf of Mexico off the coast of Mexico Beach Florida, I am trying the G-Eye Jig for the first time and in this video. I show you how I use it to catch fish, including some nice Red Snapper. I really enjoy light tackle offshore fishing and this one ounce jig may be my new favorite! I fish inshore and offshore showing you what I do to find and catch fish! Please hit that subscribe button so you won't miss my future videos!

Why do you lift your motors out of the water when fishing? Live in Panama City, great videos!!!!

Unfortunately I don’t have a trolling motor on the Grady so I have to use an anchor. I have the engines up basically since I just didn’t lower them after getting the anchor set. What I do to set the anchor is once I get over the reef I turn off the boat and raise the engines and let the boat drift so I can see which way it will drift once anchored. And it seems with the engines up I get a more accurate drift. Then once I see which way the boat will drift I can set the anchor on the opposite side of the reef the appropriate distance. Once I get the anchor letting out I turn off the engines and raise them again to drift the same way as before. Really no other reason than just not raising them after I get the anchor set. Thanks for watching!
