Thanks for the videos! I'm a 70- 77 grand prix fan. Owned only a 77 with 301. 20 mag. Rode like a dream. WIDE TRACKING PONTIAC, from the commercial. Paid $250.00 for it. Yup I'm old. Has a dual exhaust put on for my Christmas gift. Oh, the memories!
I drove a super clean silver with black top 70 model 455 sj home for a friend of mine who bought it back in the 80s he went to auctions I would go with him and his dad so they could buy cars for there car lot he also bought a silver gto that was as clean it had a 400 in it. I loved going to the auctions I'd go 5 days a week it was a regular job I'd check out the cars drive them then if we only bought a couple ŵe would drive them home or when he bought alot he would get them shipped there was a auction in Tennessee 2 in Mississippi 1 in Florida and 1 in louisiana. I got payed to have a awesome time it was alot of fun and I met so many people. I miss those days most of all I miss my friends dad we were close rip Mr pete.
Those missing bumper filler ends (1973-1987) are hard to find… I’d craft them from sheet aluminum or make out of thin plywood. 1962-1972 didn’t use them. I’m thinking the 1973/newer AMC “ open design/ NO vinyl fillers” was the better idea. CB
OFFICIALLY REQUESTING 1983 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX. THE OTHER SIMILAR YEARS TO THE 1983 BODY STYLE ARE FINE TOO. Personally I think the body style from 1983 in the similar ones too are the best styles Grand Prix they ever had. It was sporty had the long hood on it.
Back in the 80s i was looking at a 68 GP SJ 428 4 speed green black interior ended up buy a 68 GTO 400 4 speed green black interior should went black for the GP
