Might be something handy to mention but it might be worth looking into some fabric to go between them magnetic lights and the cars paint before you get someone claiming you damaged it, not sure how much that'd effect the holding power of them.
Great content mate, nice to have a mix. Dont worry about not filming something because people have seen it before, it's "a day in the life" and it's what we're here to watch
Loving the content Greg, keep it up mate. I love watching heavy d sparks and how he uses his big military 5 ton winch truck to recover stuff. Just watched how he did a hgv with a loaded trailer if hay stuck in the mud. Was awesome. Keep it up brother 👍👍👍👍
I just love the intro on your videos, one of the best on RU-vid, whoever made it deserves a Oscar , your content and presentation skills r great too and at point Good luck mate
You posted a video 2 weeks ago about how you got into the business. What struck me was that you showed how you sub contracted out the job... This interested me greatly, you said to comment below in that video if you wished to know more. I'm interested in what details you take from the clients and the sub contractors and how you formed the contracts.... I'm disabled.... but pretty good at marketing... seems you have shown me a way to return to work after 17 years off pal. Thank you 😊
We will have a unimog for sale shortly if your interested, it doesn't have any winches or recovery gear but it's a smart machine had a lot of work done over the last few years including a respray so she looks the part
Hi Daniel, Thanks for watching & comment. Drop a message to my facebook page if your on there. GDB Recovery & 24HR Mobile Tyres with some pictures / Spec Thanks
Another Great video. The Bedford was a good truck in its day but you might find it a bit slow and due to the age of her you might struggle to get replacement parts
Should got the guy to pull the handbrake on a couple clicks to help stop over running the winch ;) First time watching 👀 and enjoyed keep it up I watch some USA stuff MATTS OFFROAD RECOVERY Is a good watch and for a bit of Recovery and FAB stuff FAB RATS is also a Good Watch 😉
The Bedford truck is effectively 50 years old - I think like others you would find it too slow, noisy and uncomfortable. However, although Bedford/AWD/Marshalls no longer exist there is a big aftermarket in spares for export so that shouldn't be a problem. Maybe consider a military Leyland DAF 4wd truck as a basis for a cheap conversion? Also, you have said that part worns are unreliable and to avoid retreads, etc, but have you done anything on which brands of tyres you find are good (FWIW I rate Falkens as good value/quality) or bad.
6.39 zoom! zoom! zoom! 😂😂 😂 Yer do make me chuckle with your alreet greeting, proper Staffordian hey👍, your becoming very confident chatting to camera now, brilliant content, might have a word with Shane and see if we can get you on one of our cinematic films, you can do all the talk to camera scenes for us! 😝 Great video mate, really enjoyed it 👍👍👍👍👍
must be different down your way but in north east even if you have recovery on the way police can still have the car lifted and will depending on the location and danger to other road users. I have personally been on jobs doing recovery for the police only for the customers own recovery agent to turn up half way through loading or even when the vehicle is fully loaded and im about to leave the scene
Who's your mate Greg?? Being hgv positive when I've got a dual tyre problem, our tyre people Tructyre always bring 2 out just in case. Great vlog as always mukka, stay safe.
Some people’s stupidity amazes me, “I chucked some oil in it” how about learning to check wheel nuts with a bar and socket, basic checks on your car can save your money and in some cases your life
