Batman, Metro, Behemoth, Alien, and now Hitman. Some serious bangers coming out soon. Not to mention all the updates for games already released. MQ3 is off to a crazy start in it's first year.
@@ContrastCopy Y'all, Aliens is going to be an "eXpErIeNcE" and AoTis the same and looks straight crap. Metro and Behemoth though..now they look gooood.
I have nothing against Cel-Shading. Defector pulled it of very well and I think it would fit this game VERY well too but the sneak peak just looked straight out of a Quest 1 Game. Let's hope it looks better on launch
While Cel Shading works for a lot of games I just don't feel like this is going to work out. Time will tell and I will try out the two-hour trial but a pre-order is 100% out of the question.
@@jakewastaken Ive probably returned 5% of the games I have purchased. If I reallyooked at the list it's probably even less. It's awesome that Meta offers it and we typically research games a lot before we buy them.
Although i still prob will grab a quest 3 in the future… this was said b4 i realized it was only hitman 3 and not the other 2 games/dlc included (always assume its “complete additions” when they remake/rerelease) and b4 i really looked at that 2 sec of footage. Maybe it will be fine, but i feel like id rather dust of the psvr1 at this point. That game was amazing minus the controls (u get used to them) and really is one of the biggest missed opportunities not coming to psvr2, could have been one of the best vr games of all time with some upgrades and tweaks. Still interested to see how this turns out of course
@@dannykelly2778, BMFVR doesn't make the game. he only react to the trailer, and play the game. he isn't the one that drop it. the one drop it is XR Games.
Wow, just wow ! I keep my psvr1 hooked up exclusively to play hitman3 VR, and now this !! I’m absolutely blown away! Meta throwing around FB money has been one of the best things for VR… I’m floored at this tbh and beyond excited! I’m looking forward to playing hitman 3 with PSVR2 on PC once the adapter comes out but this has stole the show !
Sony isn't focusing on games that are already on PSVR 1. Doesn't mean that it won't come later. The better graphics mean it might be coming down the road.

Good point when done right sell shaded art style is fantastic and I love it. I just hope that they are able to mesh it well with feel of Hitman so that it still feels like a Hitman game
@@ethananderson7716 right, that’s why leaning into stylized cell shading makes more sense in general in my opinion. It can look nice AND the system can render it cleanly.
I hope it’s much better than the PCVR version . As crazy as that sound, it just had a lot of fundamental problems with the mechanics and gameplay. it did not play like a VR game you were still having to press button to open doors, etc. etc.
Why is everyone so surprised, the recipe for Questifying games is simple? Remove textures, shadows, reflections, lighting, particles, and most assets including people...and you've got a 'perfect' Quest game. To play Hitman in PCVR you need a fairly powerful PC, to enjoy the game fully. Now think about that and think about what Hitman is going to look like on the Quest. I am not convinced, and will only believe in it when I see it. Sorry.
Hell yeah vr is looking good this year for sure Definitely voting with my dollar on ever AAA i just hope they're all decent at least. Definitely need more full games
@5:15 You can only make that statement if you limit the subject to Standalone headsets. PSVR2 and PC could easily outclass anything they polish up for Quest 3
Standalone was exactly what they were referring too when comparing to the other Quest devices. I think everyone knows PC and PSVR2 could easily do all of this and look way better doing it.
Man I hope they eventually add the world of assassination trilogy 3:28 duel wielding is not new to hitman it just wasn’t in the world of assassin trilogy
The power of the Quest 3? Is this a off season April Fools joke? This looks bad.. Too bad the PCVR version looked amazing.. If the gameplay is not janky or laggy ill buy it on sale.
Honestly I don't really know why they use that shot. There has to be a better looking portion of the game. I know that the quest 3 is power is being used for the dense crowds and larger locations but there has to be better visuals. At least that's what I'm hoping LOL
seriusly me especialy my dad dosent buy me anything i got the quest 2 because my dad dosent want to buy me any thing i buyt the quest 2 like when i t came out originaly my that is the kind of person that dosent buy me anything and the game that i have ben waiting is not compatible for the quest 2 this is just bull crap
Yeah. Quest 3 is close to PS4 in power. This looks MILES below the PSVR version. It's a Beta and made by different devs but I sure hope it will look better on launch
Also, it’s a little concerning that we’re just now hearing about this and it’s coming out this summer . I’m going to reserve any excitement till it releases.
@@steffendetrick I hope so that would be awesome. I think though if you check out the trailer for their zombie Land reloaded on psvr 2 that's probably more of the style we will get for the sell shaded. I just hope that it fits okay with the Hitman games and we get some darker more shadowy areas
I played Hitman 3 on the Quest using Plutosphere and it was honestly one of the coolest experiences Ive ever had in VR. The size of each level, the incredible detail, the numerous NPC’s, it all added up to simply unparalleled gameplay. I can only hope HItman 3 Reloaded doesn’t drop the ball.
I'm excited to think the controls will be better than the PC version they had. I think that was a big disappointment. I'm not excited about a cel shaded game.. I think that to me personally takes away the immersion. Seeing games like Assassins Creed, you would think they could have a better art style for this type of game. However, I'm open to seeing what they can do on the interactive side to compensate for lack of realism in the graphics. But again, my expectations for Hitman have always been about the realism of it.
I don't call things amazing because I get stuff for free, but to your other point it's nothing like the other controls as it's totally rebuilt for VR not a mode.
We will see. The original vr port on Playstation and pc are pretty rough. Not sure I'll want to down scale the graphics painfully low just for duel wielding and slight ui improvements.
If it turns out to be done as good as the RE4 port for quest then I wish they would do this with other older story driven games. I know alot people say make new games but I believe that doing these ports could help the adoption for vr.
What a clown move. Instead of fixing the actual VR mode so everyone can play it they create a dumbed down version only for Quest 3 that looks like a freaking comic version. This is exactly why VR isn't taking off.
This is done by a totally different dev that's why. IO Interactive I'm sure is involved but not doing the development for it. Pretty much a totally new game built from the ground up native for VR.
@@BMFVR I am aware of that. The business decision still came from IO. I would have bought Hitman 3 long ago if they fixed the VR mode and then they also packed it into one bundle so it is even more expensive and now they get no money at all. These companies are braindead.
My biggest concern is actually the graphics, cuz if I'm familiar with the Zombieland VR reloaded done by this company, this Quest port of Hitman will look comical af. Glad to see that it wasn't as comical as Zombieland but it is still concerning to me.
I really wish with this title they would have went Quest 3, PSVR 2, and PC VR. That way the developers can go all out and make a great AAA game that will bring more people to the VR space. That's why I feel it's essential they have it on the top three platforms without having to dumb the game down for Quest 2 in any other previous gen systems. I understand that excludes a lot of VR users but games like this need to be next level good and you cannot do that on the Quest 2
