She now going crazy by hating all the horde and that's wrong , that's why Raxxar (Her Horde ally) will not stand by Jaina no longer and her Vengeance ! Because True Horde had nothing to do what Hellscream have done to Theiramore !
@@Arty_McParty you haven't read the books War Crimes, the calm before the storm, and the comic.... because jaina isnt angry or crazy. Read up, she is back to normal now, the only difference is she isnt buddy buddy with the horde anymore....if you think the lore is all in game you will be wrong

I LOVE that they are playing the Warbringers song and right when the words "beware of me" would be spoken she engages the amulet - such an emotional moment.
"That lady" is Lady Priscilla Ashvane. Head of the House of Ashvane, and the Ashvane Trading Company. She lost her husband at Theramore, and blames Jaina for it. She was going to use the situation to try and usurp the Proudmoore's position, and take over Boralus. This plan was revealed and she escaped by jumping into the sea. She later returned with Irontide Raiders, and surrendered when Tandred's fleet arrived (Tandred is Jaina's brother). After, she was imprisoned and subsequently released by a small raiding party from the Horde. Led by none other than Rexxar, the Half-Orc, Half-Ogre Mok'Natahal Beastmaster and Champion of the Horde. He's the one killed Jaina's father in Warcraft III. Ashvane knew that Sylvanas wouldn't do this out of charity, and agreed to go and discuss things with the Warchief. (that is where the story currently stands on this character)

My favorite part was when in the 3rd cinematic when the nightmare ends and jaina hugs her mother and the theme of Theramore is playing. Gotta love the touch of hearing her mom say to her again "come topside sweetheart" First time i saw it i actually sobbed. Its such a powerful moment i show it to people who dont play the game and they shed tears even if they dont really know why
To get the full picture of what happened with Kul'tiras it actually requires going back to a bit of Warcraft III. Jaina and the nearby orcs were neutral to each other until her father showed up and tried to "rescue" her from them, still remembering the war they had with each other prior. Ultimately he couldn't be talked down, continually attacking the Horde against her wishes, and Jaina stood aside as their forces stormed Theramore and killed her father. In-game we're shown mostly from the Kul'tirans point of view back home, who only knew the part about the brave, heroic Daelin Proudmoore who sailed off to slay those evil orcs but never came home because he was betrayed by his daughter.
Hearing which was your favourite part wasn't too surprising, but it was wholesome.:D Kids all talking about scenes of triumph, the father talking about the scene with the father, the mother talking about the scene with the mother. My favourite part was also the one mom talked about. - My daughter... Forgive me. Forgive your father. And forgive yourself. It's because I have a feeling that Jaina did forgive herself here.
So, a little backstory to Jaina, as you see, she's the daughter of the leaders of Kul Tiras, and grew to become a mage. Eventually, she met the future king of Lordaron Arthas who she fell in love with (the blond man), but what happened was there was a plague going around in a town turning the people into zombies. Arthas believed the only way to stop this was to essentially purge the city, killing everyone. Jaina couldn't stand for that and left since she couldn't bring herself to fight against him, and in turn, helped cause him to become one of the most evil beings in Warcraft as he obtained a powerful weapon known as frostmorne and a crown that allowed him to conrol and raise the dead to do his bidding. Later on, she set up a city where she tried working with the opposing faction called the Horde as a way to try and unify the two, but her father didn't like this due to the past and went to go and fight against the horde. Jaina went to warn the warchief (head of the horde) and they agreed not to go to war if she handed her father over to them. She agreed and stood aside as they killed her father, and in doing so, she thought she stopped a war from happening only for a future warchief to go and blow up her city, wiping out almost every citizen there during a time of peace. She's also had to experience many forms of betrayal and has been back stabbed multiple times, which leads us to the nightmare where we see all her failures eat away at her.
A lot gets missed in these cinematics, not seeing them in order, but that comment by dragonson04 does a lot to explain who Lady Ashvane is. Theramore was a city-state Jaina had established previously, setting up an albeit uneasy peace with the Orcish Horde. When Jaina's father Daelin, Lord Admiral of the Kul Tiran fleet, arrived and learned the situation, he launched a War of Aggression against the Horde, taking over Theramore as his base of operations. Jaina tried to talk him out of it, but her Father would hear nothing of it - he was out for blood because of the previous wars the Orcs had waged against humanity, nearly 20 years past by then. One of Jaina's brothers (and thus Daelin's son) had died in that war. When Jaina couldn't stop her father with words... she approached the Orcs, and basically opened the door for them to come in and stop her father themselves. She didn't take part in any fighting, but she had indeed betrayed her Father. It was in the name of attempting to hold a peace that she later lost faith in when a new, aggressive Warchief turned Theramore into a crater. And I mean the entire city. She had always deeply regretted her Father's death, but never so much as when she came to believe he had been right all along.
There's a video out, forgive me I don't know the name, that shows all of the story ingame from Cathrine having remorse for sentencing her daughter, to when she gave the sovereignty to Jaina. Worth checking out, not necessarily for a reaction but for personal intrest, filling in the blanks as it were. Lord Admiral is the title for Kul Tiran Kings and Queens.

If you guys like Elsa from frozen you will like Jaina. She is a frost mage. Incredibly powerful. In the new raid that came out recently the horde fight her and her spells are amazing she freezes the ocean and you fight her on the ice. I love her!

when i played through the quests that show all these cinematics i was crying so much at that cinimatic with jaina's mom seeing key moments from jaina's past, i honestly can't help but cry every time i see it
"We're home, Tandred!" Someone may have mentioned this, but just in case... Jaina not only returned the fleet to Kul'Tiras, she brought her brother, Tandred Proudmoore home too. He's the one who says, "Let's show them what Kul'Tirans are made of!"
A part of the Kul-Tiran fleet was lost due to some traitor mages locking it in some kind of storm/loop thingy. Jaina was able with the pendant to locate them and break the magic, and bring them home again. Also, the Captain of the returning fleet is Jainas younger brother. :)
Some context: So, there's quite a lot to dissect here. Jaina Proudmoore is the daughter is the deceased Lord-Admiral Daelin Proudmoore, who was known as both a great hero to his people and a fierce opponent of the Orcish Horde. However, following a temporary truce between the Alliance and Horde in order to combat the first invasion of the demonic Burning Legion in 10,000 years, the Warchief of the Horde, a young shaman named Thrall, attempted to settle peace between the two factions. With most of the human nations either destroyed or gone into isolation following the devastating Legion invasion, some humans under Jaina Proudmoore's command settled on the shores of a continent called Kalimdor, where they founded the city-state of Theramore. Lord-Admiral Daelin Proudmoore came with a fleet of Kul Tiras ships, however, with the intent on saving his daughter from the Horde. Unbeknownst to him, Jaina was working with Thrall to maintain the uneasy peace, and despite his best efforts and his love for his daughter, she conspired with the Horde to have his fleet destroyed and he was killed in the ensuing battle. She has never truly forgiven herself for that day. Following the final defeat of the Burning Legion several years later, which resulted in its supreme leader, Sargeras, becoming imprisoned and most of his command structure destroyed, the Alliance and Horde found themselves pitted against each other once more in a war for resources. Specifically, a new and magical mineral called Azerite, which began to appear across Azeroth as a result of Sargeras impaling the planet with his sword just before his defeat. While the Horde set out to recruit the ancient Zandalari Empire into their ranks, Jaina Proudmoore traveled to her homeland of Kul Tiras in order to both seek forgiveness for the Alliance and to recruit Kul Tiras into the war effort. However, the Kul Tiran fleet was missing, and mysterious happenings were cropping up across the kingdom that prevented Kul Tiras from functioning. As you saw, Jaina was imprisoned for her past crimes, and players are sent to solve Kul Tiras's problems in order to unify the kingdom once more. It was eventually discovered that Lady Ashvane, the advisor and head of House Ashvane, had secretly formed an alliance of her own with the Naga, a race of imperialistic serpent people that worship the malevolent Old Gods. Through her political scheming and the Nagas' terrible magic, they were able to trap the Kul Tiran fleet in a supernatural storm, far off at sea. By uncovering Ashvane's treachery and destroying the Nagas' operations in Kul Tiras, players were able to aid the Kul Tirans in unifying their kingdom once more. While this was happening, Ashvane had ordered Jaina be transferred from one location to another, where she was eventually exiled to a largely deserted island far off the coast. There, she was found by an ancient spirit named Gorak Tul, who ruled over a shadowy realm within Kul Tiras. He claimed Jaina's soul, and Jaina's mother, Katherine, found herself distraught over her daughter's fate after learning of Ashvane's betrayal and deception. With the aid of the players, she traveled into Gorak Tul's realm, where they confronted the spirit and defeated him. However, Jaina's spirit was still terrified and fragmented, and Katherine had to help her confront her greatest regrets. The first of these regrets was the final conversation she had with her childhood friend, Arthas Menethil. At the time, the two had been investigating a mysterious plague that was sweeping through his kingdom of Lordaeron. This plague was not only killing people, but also raising their corpses as undead. Arthas and Jaina tracked a huge shipment of contaminated grain to a major city called Stratholme. Unfortunately, they arrived too late and the population had already become infected. Arthas proposed that the only solution would be to purge the population by systematically exterminating the citizens. Jaina could not go through with this and abandoned Arthas, who went through with the purge and murdered every last man, woman, and child in the city. This event led Arthas to track down the mastermind behind the plague, a demon named Mal'Ganis, and followed him to the northernmost continent of Northrend. There, Arthas found a cursed sword named Frostmourne, and upon claiming it he had become corrupted and brainwashed by Mal'Ganis's master, the Lich King. These events would lead to Arthas ultimately returning home to destroy Lordaeron, and eventually supplanting the original Lich King. The second regret was a conversation she had with her father. Katherine had long assumed that Jaina had murdered Daelin, yet this memory proved to her that Jaina tried everything in her power to stop him from waging the war he so wanted. His mind was made up, however, and he led his men to their deaths in Theramore, and he himself was killed by champions of the Horde. Jaina could never forgive herself for failing to save either Arthas or her own father, which is where her childhood self says "I did everything wrong." Her arc concludes in this video with Katherine helping Jaina come to terms with her failures, where she is greeted by the memories of every last one of her friends whose deaths she blames on herself, including her father Daelin, her former High King Varian Wrynn and her apprentice, Kinndy Sparkshine, among others. She finally learns how to forgive herself, thus bringing the Proudmoore family back together. Finally, the story ends here with Jaina and Katherine watching as Ashvane's pirates raid the Kul Tiran capital, Boralus. With Ashvane's betrayal uncovered, the Nagas' schemes foiled, and the Old Gods' agents killed, Jaina was able to use her father's pendant to call the fleet home. As you saw, Ashvane was forced to surrender, and she was later incarcerated in Kul Tiras' largest prison complex. Jaina's self-realization arc ends there, but the Naga and their Old God master, N'Zoth, are still scheming deep below the tides, and the Horde and their Zandalari allies are still an impending threat.
after garrosh(second warchief of horde) destroyed theramore and destroyed alliance between jaina and horde she began regret every decision she made in past... thinking if she sided with her father and helped him to destroy horde she would prevented all the death caused by war between alliance and horde... she might saved his father and her people but it was that alliance saved world many times... she did right things and she know that too but also... who is she to decide to take lifes of people she sworn to protect? thats why she is filled with guilt. to do what she belived to be right she paid heavy tolls she simply belives she is responsible death of EVERYONE died in hand of horde after that moment because she had chance to end eternal conflict once and for all and she didnt use it
So jainas story is complex Where to start....so shes the daughter of Lord Admiral Daelin Proudmoore (played by Mark Addy, Robert Baratheon from game of thrones!), basically king of the island nation of Kul'tiras. She was trained as a mage in the mage city of dalaran by the leader of the kirin tor, Antonidas. She fell in love with a young prince her age. The heir of the Kingdom of Lordaeron Prince Arthas Menethil The future Lich King She followed arthas in his fight against the undead attacking lordaeron. Until he ordered his soldiers to wipe out a city of his own people whof been infected. "This entire city must be purged....jaina?" "Im sorry arthas...i cant watch you do this.. " At the behest of a Prophet who foretold the coming storm she took a great amount of the kul tiran fleet and many people from lordaeron and fled west to lordaeron There she joined gorces with the horde and fought the burning legion and saved the world Months later however her father found her. Her father who hated the horde for killing his eldest son 20 years ago Who had lost his closest friend, King Terenas Menethil II, king of lordaeron and father of arthas, when the scourge wiped out lordaeron All he had left...was revenge. If not against arthas, than the orcish horde would do. Who also murdered his men and stole his ships to flee the continent. Jaina had seen how the horde had changed and refused to help. In fact, she helped the horde. She was complicit in her fathers murder. She wanted peace between the orcish horde and the human led alliance. Until her city she founded, Theramore, was bombed by a later orcish warchief, Garrosh Hellscream with a magical super weapon (Note: jaina is only about 40, her hair was basically bleached white by the blast) Now 5 years after garrosh died, war between the alliance and horde thunders once again Once more the tides of war have reached the island nation of Kul Tiras And now finally, the Daughter of the Sea must return home to help her people
5:50 is my favorite part because all the ghosts behind Jaina represent the guilt she feels. She personally feels like she let them all die. It's so heavy. jaina is my favorite Warcraft character.
Lord Admiral pretty much makes Jaina the leader of Kul Tiras. It's kind of King/Queen AND admiral of the fleet since they're a mostly naval island kingdom.
so, have you guys played Warcraft 3 or at least WoW? I mean, the best thing in this video was when they showed Arthas. Damn! I still miss him. If only Jaina and Uther had stayed with him there, he wouldn't have needed the Frostmourne. :(
My favorite part is pretty when Jaina was able to forgive herself for all the deaths she at least partially blamed herself for; Rhonin, who died saving Jaina's life when Theramore was annihilated. Varian... well I can't go into details on that one because spoilers. Her father, who died years ago at the first battle of Theramore. Arthas, the man who was once her fiance, fall from grace and turn from Paladin to Lich King. And lastly, Kinndy Sparkshine, her gnome apprentice. Like Rhonin (whom Kinndy's ghost is standing behind on the left), Kinndy died at the obliteration of Theramore. No, death is too clean of a word to describe what happened to that young woman. Also major spoilers if you decide to read the book, but I'm just gonna say it's really good to see Jaina free of that burden

Jaina Proudmore: she got her hair color for the worst reason, its a consequense of the massacre of her people being her the only survivor. She's also one of the most powerful mages in WOW lore, making her one of the most powerful mortals in general
Jaina's story through WarCraft and World of Warcraft is basically that she wanted people to live in peace with each other, but pretty much everyone ignores her advices - to their detriment. Then, over a long period of time, and many tragedies, she becomes deeply cynical and warmongering herself (which in itself is deeply tragic). This expansion is in many ways her story of finally finding her rightful place in the world, and getting some peace with her past. Jaina is a great character.
It wasn't exactly Jaina's fault that an army of orc's were the onslaught of Theramore where her father was defeated in battle. If the Kul'Tiran's want to start keeping score, there were way more people of Stormwind and Lordaeron whom fought the evil horde(it's been so long that I cannot remember whether it was Thralls people or if it was evil orcs that killed Jaina's father/defended Azeroth and died before the Kul'Tiran's took up arms against the horde forces. They are all fools to turn against Jaina. She has been giving her best efforts. Thumbs up!

it would be like x10 awsome if you guys got a Little of back story before you watch these videos. jaina was a true hero, in the battle of theramore she ¨sacrifice¨ his father in order to keep the peace between the horde and aliance. cause his father atacked the horde city for no apearent reazon .this is a very very short story there is a lot more to say but just so you make an idea of what the video is about

My favorite part is also my most hated part... It is the part with Arthas... BECAUSE WHAT JAINA SAYS IN THAT SCENE IS TOTALLY RIGHT!!! IF SHE STAYED THERE TO MEND THE EMOTIONAL TRAUMA THE CULLING OF STRATHOLME CAUSED ARTHAS MIGHT HAVE NEVER FALLEN FOR VENGEANCE!!!

Jaina believe for peace, but things turn wrong, there are 5 people in her vision, her father killed by orcs, boyfriend became Lichking, her teacher and her only student died to save civilians in theramor bomb, closest friend Varian died at battle of broken shore.
Her hair is like that due to Trauma she isn't old when people go through incredibly painful and traumatizing things their hair turns white when it comes to Jaina her entire city was bombed and destroyed which is when her hair turned white due to i think a magic outburst?
