as someone who started playing WoW in Mists of Pandaria expansion, i L O V E this!!

I’m a retail player (since beta) not big on classic but I gotta say this has me interested. I think the selling point for me is when it’s over the characters get moved over to retail and all the cosmetics. It feels like a timewalking event for retail rather than a completely separate thing like classic.

I've been away for a couple years and didn't plan to come back. This is absolutely bringing me back and I can't wait!

I'm glad basically all of the cosmetics aren't class locked and are relatively easily available. I do really worry Blizz will do their usual idiotic fun police move of making the MoP Legendary cloak illusion toys be something dumb like 5 min duration on 2 hour cooldown, while still having the original "only occasionally pop up and then disappear again" thing. Literally nobody anywhere cares about people using toys to transform their character or anything like that. Make every toy have no cooldown and/or no duration limit. If the 0.1% of players that play PvP care so much, just make it so all toys and transformation buffs and such just don't work in instanced PvP areas like arenas and BGs, but let the actual 99.9% of players just have fun already.

I hope they bring this kind of event to WOD. people didnt like the expansion at the time but the zones are just so good (ambiance,music) and they can create a changed version of tanaan jungle.

if this is a testing ground for things in retail then im all for it... im pretty convinced a simplified gearing system like the one mentioned would make retail alot more fun

Tested it oot on PTR. Fell in love with it. Was a og hc(before it became mythic) SoO raider, I know the talents and quests are Chromie Time, but I am hyped for this

Loved MOP, my main is still a panda monk from that time, so I'll get into this for sure. I'll need as much of the mounts and transmogs as possible. Can't wait! Only tough part is deciding what I'll want to level thru it, maybe a worgen monk, or panda hunter, or a panda mage...can't decide!!

It is so much fun. Played quite a few hours so far. I was hugely surprised.

I love this so much! I'm a huge collector and I'm going to be sinking hundreds of hours into this. Hopefully the time we have with this is long enough to collect everything.

We were so close to perfection. Only missed opportunity was not letting players do the cloak questline. I've done it and believe new players should (along with the wod ring questline, even if that wasn't that great)

I’m so excited! I started playing during the DF pre-patch and completing shadowland was fun but it felt lonely, this way us newbies can experience the old expansions.

Joined WoW with some friends during WoD and have never really played through pandaria….tried but leveling was always tough after they changed the heirlooms. Been playing this and while I’m only level 30 I’m having a ton of fun, I like this idea especially for allied races if you want to earn their heritage armor and such.

Is the bronze coins souldbound or can you trade between characters or account bound even ?

It's been a lot of fun playing this on the PTR! Especially continuously looting new stats for your cloak and abilities to choose from helps make this feel like fresh content to play. My only concern is the acquisition rate for Bronze. Just the new mounts alone will combined cost over 100k Bronze, which during leveling feels like a far out of reach amount to grind out

I am absolutely stoked for this event. This should be a permeant change. Every time walking week for that expansion, this system should be active for it.

So glad that they've increased rep gains, so it isn't a slog. But I wonder, if you want to do campaign quests for example Thunder King , is it still rep gated or available from the start? And will they make the rares spawn more often? And finally, can you sell the scrolls or other items from mobs, besides armor?

I've tested it a bit on the PTR, and it's surprising how fun it is, despite being the same content we played ten years ago. What really helps it is the loot. Every non-breadcrumb quest gives an item cache that contains a piece of gear, around 20 bronze, a consumable/gem, and sometimes a thread. These consumables include stat buff scrolls that work just like Power Word Fortitude or Arcane Intellect (so great for groups). Threads are also great, since even basic mobs can drop them. Killing a couple extra tigers and getting a permanent +1 Stamina or +1 Haste makes every step feel rewarding, even if it isn't really. So it is a BIT of a skinner box mode, but so far the only rewards that are locked to this mode are relatively cheap. Sure, you could grind this nonstop on several characters to purchase all the old stuff... or just go to Pandaria right now and try to get it. Finally, what really helps this event is just how good Mists of Pandaria is- the zones, the music, the lore, the dungeons, the characters, and the moments both silly and serious. I'm biased because this was my first full expansion, but this is unironically peak WoW.

This looks amazing. I have a feeling that this will evolve into time walking but in patch style. With a new patch, a wow remix will be active...

So do you think they will bring back WoD Challenge mode for the weapon transmogs? That would be so awesome, been wanting those since they came out.

Reputation grind in this remix persist? I mean can you do reputation and all pandaria achievments, when it merge on main retail account with that charachter does that persist etc? Also Mounts and Transmog bought in Remix, does that merge on retail?

You touched on it a bit about buying other armor classes than your own. But fit dropped transmog gear, can one character gain everything, or would we need to run four different armor classes through this mode to collect it all?

Does it have the armor sets from speedrun dungeons back in MoP? Specifically the shaman one with the talking totems

@MrGM how many mounts and transmog are usable for classic wow players please?

MrGM, do you happen to know if we level for example a Dark Iron Dwarf, would that qualify for the heritage armor set once it goes back to retail WoW?

One thing I am curious is in order to unlock the Tusks of Mannoroth do you need to play a class that wears plate, or can you use any class?

So are the achievements that do not auto convert to feats of strength (like the cross platform achievements to retail such as rep) double unlock for MoP timerunning and then unlock on retail??

I love this idea. I really enjoy season of discovery, and I really love the faster pace of retail WoW. Win win for me.

THE PTR IS AMAZING. As someone who started wow jn dragonflight, going back to the old content without having to deal with classic is a smart move by blizzard.

So how does character creation work? What I mean is, is it separate like plunderstorm or does it use the same servers as retail? I'm asking this because you can make an Evoker for remix, however you are only allowed to have 1 evoker per server. So if you already have one, are you locked from making one on remix, or once remix ends, are you forced to move that new evoker to a realm you don't normally play on essentially making it useless? I'm unsure if this was addressed or not by a blue post but I'm interested to know since the answer is going to determine if a lot of time is wasted or not.

So freaking excited for this. Only xpac I've missed when it was current and while Chrome Time is cool this sound better.

Will this unlock allied Race armor appearances by leveling them this way? I.e. Void Elf Race Armor, Dark Iron Dwarf, etc.

Question: How does the stat cloak behave for timewalking chars on different servers? If I have a lvl 70 on server A with big cloak stats, does my timewalking char on server B get the same stats or do I start at 0 again?

Correct me if I’m wrong. Did you not do a video when Chromie Time was announced stating how it should have been instead of what we got? Because I feel like this is related to what you said (if it was you, it may have been someone else). In the video it was a speedy way to get to 50 and you could do the raids at your leisure as kind of a solo campaign type thing. Legion was used as an example. This feels like how chromie time should have been executed.

Do we know if this can be used to unlock hertiage armor for the races they require you to level up to 50 to unlock it?

Mop was when i burned myself out and become number 1 holy priest on my realm and number 3rd priest over all. I remember logging in on non raid nights typing i was board and watching all these guilds message me to go raiding with them. It still to this day is one of my favourite places to go as everything looks so nice and peaceful. I can't wait

Anyone know what realm your characters get transferred to after the Timerunner event ends? I ask because I have toons on different realms, so do I get to choose where it goes into?

Do these characters at max level get thrown to retail content or do they have their own thing at max level?

honest question tho, what is the 0-70 leveling time frame/ how long does it take? because i can sit afk while my bros do everything and get from 0-70 in less than a couple hours... and then we just switch and repeat the process, ( i wont be doing this as i have every single class at 70 already) but it seems cool? im just pretty sure its going to be out shined by power levelers

Shame, time-limited, cause it looks like it will take a long time to get enough Bronze to get a lot of these goodies. I am so excited for this, I played a lil, and I love how it makes you feel so powerful. 2-3 shoot mobs down. This is good to play a toon that you struggle with levelling. I can't wait, I've been playing SOD, but I miss having the Quality of Life stuff like we have in Retail. This Panda:Remix will have those...I can't wait. WOOT ♥

This is the perfect thing for the end of an expansion. Having this sort of thing for BC or Wrath could be fun too!

In function, Pandaria was pretty respectable. I wouldn't mind playing through Remix. I'll say this: give Bliz credit for being willing to experiment with new twists and ideas. Look at how much better, for example, World Quests have become in an effort to fend off boredom by expanding the variety.

can i get garrosh heirloom weapons with sockets that will add into my main acc heirloom tab?

With the cloak - new characters don't get all the stats from the cloak - that would give a level 10 thousands of stamina and main stat, which would break the game. You get all the EXP gain at level 10, and a tiny amount of all the other stats (more of the stamina than others in the PTR), which does make leveling much faster, and makes you much stronger, but you don't start with a level 10 that has half a million health, and can one-shot dungeon bosses. As you level secondary toons, you continue upgrading the cloak, and at certain breakpoints you get an additional amount of the full stats on the cloak, then get 100% of the stats at level 70.

I’d love to see classic added to timewalking. And the ability to stop Chromie from pulling you out of Chromie time. Yeah classic would be easy with all the new class improvements but it’d be a neat feature to experience in retail

They should make this mode available at least once a year. The cost of certain things will take forever to grind and get. For about one mount, the grind will take around 20hrs. I was watching one streamer, he collected 2k currency in an hour. It cost 40k for a mount,
