Words and music by LP, who has written songs for many singers, including Rihanna, Christina Aguilera, Celine Dion, the Backstreet Boys, and on, and on. They blew me away the first time I heard them. For the next song featuring them, I would suggest The Hu, featuring LP, song Mother Nature.

Her name is Laura Pergolizzi, known professionally as LP, she is an American singer, musician and songwriter (her parents are Italian-American). Amazing voice (as you said a long time ago, it was mentioned in the comments that Asaf Avidan's voice reminds of her.....) Beautiful song and thank you for your great reaction , dear Bill.

The studio version has “wolf howls” in the background, suggesting the song’s “venue” was a camping trip, so yes, the whistling does have that “stay close, dog” quality.

Hi, your reaction to LP is great. I enjoyed watching this very much. In an interview, LP said they wrote this song about a year before their partner broke up with them. LP actually wrote this song as more of a hopeful song, than a breakup song. I'm so glad you noticed, and mentioned that. LP is a fabulous songwriter/singer/performer. Thanks again! I can't wait for your reactions to many more songs of LP.

I was looking to see if there were preferred pronouns, but I just saw “she.” So is LP they/them? I try to be sensitive to that.💗

The pronouns are they/them. They’ve worked with one of my daughter’s favorite artists, so she knew of LP & could confirm the pronouns.😊

@@jenewingtxlpcAn article I read stated that LP identifies as nonbinary, and prefers using the pronouns they/them. But, they will never correct anyone for fear of losing their fans.

@@DeloresVogler my daughter had heard of LP. LP confirmed they are non-binary to the artist my daughter listens to, so she already knew LP was non-binary & passed that onto me. I also ended up finding an article as well where they said they were non-binary. It’s sad that they fear for their job. Nobody should have to face that type of prejudice. Thanks for the confirmation & for letting me know that they fear they’ll lose their job by being their authentic self. I always want to be respectful of that. We always hear about “The Golden Rule” of treat others the way you would want to be treated. But “The Platinum Rule” is treat others the way THEY want to be treated. So I abide by that as much as I possibly can.💗

Holy moly! I need to get on Patreon or Discord to vent all the cuss words I want to use to describe how f*ing brilliant this singer is. It can be argued that all singers’ voices are their instruments, but she takes it to a new level. It is truly an instrument that she invented and knows how to use expertly. I think you’ve just shown me a new person to completely binge like when I got reacquainted with Beth Hart. Just outstanding. I'm so happy I saw this reaction I been a fan of LP for 5 years been to two of her concerts and she's absolutely amazing singing live she's the best thank you for this reaction and if you like this one you should check out her muddy waters live from this same venue also I want to recommend strange live at the McKittrick Hotel and forever for now live at sun king studio 52 or her cover for halo live is amazing I'll subscribe to your channel hope to see more of LP here 😊
