Sadly, the township in Michigan where I'll be moving to only allows for exterior walls 20 feet long. It was the townships way of making single wides illegal. The idiots were thinking of the old ones that do look horrible but these new single wides are amazing. Apparently there are single wides that are 20 feet wide ... which I could buy ... a guy in Canada who makes manufactured home videos showcased one. However, Chance has not yet shown us a 20 foot wide manufactured home in the U.S. Arrrg

@@npickard4218 He did a 22 foot single wide but you'd have to search for the video. I can't remember the manufacturer but I do remember that I can't get one in Georgia. I have the land and one old single wide so I'm going to get another old single wide. Build a marriage wall and remodel them like I want. New siding, a metal roof over and a porch and deck. It'll be cheaper than any new trailer. I can get the trailers for practically nothing. The first one was free. Maybe you can do that there.

@@npickard4218 I'm not handy but my son is. Also I know someone who has done it. The leveling of the two so the floors are together is the most important thing. And a good marriage wall. The mobile homes don't have to be the same length. I figure anything we can't handle with the help of youtube we can hire done. With singlewides nearly $100k we'll still save money.

Well in a lot of rural areas, the roads are narrow. It’s harder to transport the 18 wides.

Love this home. Love how the kitchen is laid out. And how the Master is set up. The closet is separate from the bathroom and the toilet isn't shoved in a closet. Love it

I won’t lie I like the homes where there isn’t any furniture in them. Don’t get me wrong they do look nice staged, but it’s nice to see one without stuff in it. Also nice home too!

I love this one. No microwave in island THANK YOU. I'd also put the soffit in the kitchen. But I love the knooks at the top of the cabinets to display stuff. I love the location of the washer/dryer. Clean the clothes, put them in baskets, throw them in the bedrooms, and shut the door. Great for kids, lol. I'd remove the pony wall in main shower and upgrade to glass wall.

Hey Chance your wife has good taste in decorating a Christmas tree ! Be glad she has the Christmas spirit. Mine left when my mother passed away Dec 6. 2002. Y'all r not alone just drive around North Carolina I think everybody has a tree , first one I saw was the day after Halloween.

Fall decor comes down on Black Friday, Christmas goes up on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. My husband would usually put Christmas lights up on Wednesday before and Thanksgiving Day while I cooked dinner.

Not crazy about the decor style of this home but will say that Palm Harbor always makes you feel like you're inside a solid drywalled stick-built home, versus a typical moby. If I could afford a Palm Harbor, I'd buy one. 👍

This is the best single wide I've seen so far. Perfect layout for the kitchen. The guest bathroom needs a window. The hallway isn't too narrow, and the bedrooms are a good size. Nice master suite, huge closet for a single wide. I love the built-in shelf. I would put a seat in the master shower. Good price too.

Here’s the scoop from a 73 year old woman. The highly anticipated Sears Wish Book arrived September 1st. The house lights were usually hung during this brief weekend of Thanksgiving while dad was off work. But they were not turned on before December 1st. Trees went up usually about mid-December, back in the day they were real cut trees, so unless you could afford two, you didn’t put it up too early or you’d have a fire hazard. Trees rarely lasted much past Christmas. Now we can have an artificial tree from the day after Thanksgiving until the 12th day of Christmas, which is actually January 6th. Since downsizing to a manufactured home, I don’t have room for my big tree. So, now I begin the day after Thanksgiving snd put up a small tree in every room and on everything. One table has a tray with a forest of bottle brush trees. We have about 30 trees now ranging in size from 1” to 5’. Each one has a theme, and I enjoy decorating them. Some I just store away fully decorated. This year my forest is spilling out onto our front deck…

I get it. My Dad always brought the High School Christmas tree home on school break (he was a teacher). But not me. We've lost some family members early Nov AND this last October we lost 3 family members. In our area it is rare now to find a 'real' tree lot anywhere, so the fake trees with 'cool' to the touch lights are going up in Nov. Exhausted from sorrow and grief ~ want to move on to comfort and peace. You're way is the old way, I'll be the weird one and start decorating in November.

NICE layout! The back master bedroom could even serve as a "family" room/living room with "guest bathroom". I actually could use the BACK door as the front and the main door as the "back" door, because you have the back door pictured as a nice entry into the large living area before you get to the kitchen. I've missed a few and playing catch up. You have made it to the master suit and my Daughter and I are already arguing who gets the master suit hahaha. I am not allowed to put Christmas decorations or the tree up until after December 14th. That is our son's birthday, and he wants his day to be special and separate from the Holiday's. We normally wait until either Thanksgiving day or the day after to put ours up. This year we all need to feel that Christmas spirit. So alot of people already putting theirs up. I LOVE this Palm Harbor home!! I don't know if I could get an 18ft. wide home into Ga. if I could buy one but I would look into it for sue!! Needs a real fireplace or at least one of those prefab ones, maybe the "Wood Burner" stoves made for gas logs would do for sure. I would change the vent hood too, I don't like that European style one. And if I could I would sacrifice the middle Bedroom in exchange for a enclosed laundry room rather than the open spot, which of course will work. I'd probably change out the shower for a walkin tub like I so often talk about. Not a lot of changes though, just a few modifications and the addon porches front and back with a garage too. Very nice though, I truly do like it.

YES, we have our treez up. We always put one tree up as a 'holiday' tree in November and a second tree up, the Christmas Tree the day after Thanksgiving. I can't post photos here, but I have a modern day Calender that shows Christmas encompaces Nov-Dec with a break for Thanksgiving :)

The tree is the entertainment for Thanksgiving guests as a tradition passed down from my grandparents...We buy the tree a few days before and set the lights, then the guests decorate it while waiting for the meal to be served...The children enjoy it most and give the parents a break, to chit-chat among the other adults, in peace...So, your wife just got ahead of me for a few days and she made that tree look GORGEOUS and oh so classy... I love this singlewide the most soo far...I love the way the hall opens up by the bedrooms and the alcove in the master is a lovely touch...Livingroom and dining area is a bit small but I can see myself living in it comfortably...The price is really getting into my price range, also...I just might look into it... Yup, it's legal to be as jolly as early as you want👌🏽😁. And I do the exact same thing when I'm saying words from other cultures or countries I try to put the accent on it. Great video Chance ! Proof that even single wides can be really nice ! However, I have to tell you, it is illegal to put the Christmas tree up until the day after Thanksgiving. Your wife's penalty will be to make one dozen chocolate chip cookies for each one of your commenters. They must be delivered before the day after Thanksgiving. You may have to help her and don't make me come over there mister ! No 😉 or 😂 ! This is a serious violation ! ! !

Nice single wide - love the kitchen, the kitchen cabinets are well done too. As for the main bedroom - I like the separate closet arrangement. I am sure there is place for a 'shub' in the main bathroom.

18 wide yes. 20 wide is my absolute favorite as far as mobile/manufactured. Unfortunately hard to find but really awesome. Most bang for your buck imo. Thank you for sharing 👍
