Well done. The Swiss Army Knife analogy fits perfectly. This is the same discussion used with the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter. If you take a Formula One race car, then equip it to haul rocks, you end up with a car that won't win races, and won't haul rocks that well either. Being a Jack-of-all trades, makes you a master of none.
I like how you spend the time researching the ships and giving us a history on it before the review very interesting stuff you save me a lot of time on the Internet looking this stuff up because I am very interested in it. Thanks again. Please keep up the good work👍
Great ship in the right hands. I’m running Müller to dial in the gun accuracy and - oddly enough - running the propulsion mod instead of steering gears. Definitely changes the feel of the ship. I’m toying with the idea of using Lemmonier as an inspiration to muck about with a real “raider” hit’n’run feel. Another great vid!
I was actually considering mentioning that, and actually that you gave my the idea in particular, but I think the way I'm playing the Graf Spee might not lend itself well to that. (But I has to try to wrap it up on account of time)...
I had a feeling that you're using Lutjens because of the 21 second traverse but yes i think its better to use him because of the Sponge perk. I have him at lvl.9 and Muller at lvl.10 but on Sunday I'm thinking of rank up either Ciliax or Takagi since both are lvl.6 plus i got 4 promotional orders plus the 40 from both the weekly boost and premium supplies in which one of the is going from 6 to 10 plus the Mutsu is coming next week and probably i will give it to Kondo for brawling since it got torpedoes but its A.P. damage at range they say is not great but time will tell. Happy hunting Captain Tac.
This is always the problem when you really think you know something, but it turns out that... like... geographically, Montevideo isn't far from Argentina... but as it turns out it isn't in Argentina.
"your office 3-in-1 printer/copier/fax machine really kinda sucks at all three jobs. if you want things to look good you're going to have to get specific" - is an analogy i find myself making, constantly
I have had a lot of fun in this ship. The guns have been mostly ok. Maybe that's cause I play the Gneisenau a fair amount and anything else seems fantastic after that. Lol. The torpedoes though, man are they fun. Good angles/range. I do wish it had more speed and maneuverability
@@tacticangel You will wonder if the reticle is broken on the Gneisenau I bought a couple PlayStation cards for you. Can I send you the codes on PS messages? TacticAngel right? I wanted to buy the upcoming Mutsu for you to say thanks for the entertainment and advice you have given me .
@@rocketfishx3474 It is but you shouldn't feel obligated to so that. I think WG will be leaving is the Mutsu for review proposes, which I hope to release on Friday around noon CST. In any case, I do appreciate the offer though
HE sets fires a lot with these guns. Long range make them burn their damage control and heal consumables so later in the match they're limited on HP. Maybe they damcon to put out your fires and get torped by a DD for some nice flood damage. Love this ship. Sonar lets me troll DD walls of skill.
The term pocket battleship is more like that guns of a battleship but the armor of a cruiser. Kinda like the illusion of a heavy cruiser....you got the guns, but not the armor.
Yeah, that would have been cool. I don't know if he is a "naval legend," but certainly history has remembered him as a naval man of capacity and integrity.
Upgrade the time taken to reach maximum speed -50% instead of the rudder. When you accelerate that fast you end up turning pretty damn good. Pretty much cruiser like.
It’s a cruiser go with a dispersion build and sacrifice the survivability of the ship at least you’ll be able to put the damage and the shots on target not trying to be rude but it’s just a suggestion by the way love your videos
Its a ship where you'd best know what you're getting into. It's a very powerful ship with a steep learning curve. Its going to troll you something awful a lot of the time, and it will give you a newfound respect for the Pensacola (because it will tear you up badly), but it is a ship that will force you to play the game well (and a bit daring) in order to be successful.
Mine was about the same price as a premium ship and my viewers tell me its awesome! Plus I use it for more than broadcasting RU-vid! I was injurred years ago in a race car crash that requires some pain med scripts and some so called friends have sticky fingers when they visit. With the camera on if they try stealing a couple vicodin I'm gonna make em famous! But really it makes my broadcasts more like a tv show! You don't need one, just seems like it brings a little more enthusiasm.
@@dannydunn223 I have a PSVR, so I have a camera, but I am not sure how much benefit there is since I don't really steam all that often and for replays and analysis it's of questionable value since I often don't do these videos in one take or do most of the work on the PlayStation, actually.
Its fun for broadcasting live play on intense games like tlou etc. so it may not benefit what you are creating. Just got my cam setup a few weeks ago and I've been having fun with it
There seems to be some kind of agenda against the graf spee in reality and on wows, you've put her down like everyone does and Swiss army knife theory is how everyone sees this ship and its very cruel... Why don't you see this ship as a cruiser on steroids? Why are you so afraid of destroyers? This ship was built to out gun anything that can keep up with it and out run anything that can sink it, it does/did that brilliantly, it's demise was sad and unlucky. Graf spee hunts cruisers and destroyers better than any ship... If used correctly...being aggressive is not using her correctly...
