The girls are Sylvia Mwenze and Scarlett Fae, who are also from Brighton in the UK. Ren has known them for some time. The have their own individual YT channels.

Btw, the video was shot in "Bar Valentino" in Brighton; if you search it on Google Maps there are a few photos of the interior including the area where they shot it.

The original artist for Back on 74 is a contemporary artist named Jungle and the official video is brilliant, a one take dance video. His version honors, musically that song, and near the end of his rap he says "massive like Jungle". Clearly a nod to the original artist.

Jungle also choreograph the dance. The backdrop was also interactive, so a viewer can change the backdrop by clicking on it - or something 😂 Head over to Disco Doc channel, who explains it very well and shows a BTS of the dancing ❤

I think that Massive like Jungle is actually a triple - yes a nod to the artist Jungle, but also referencing “jungle massive”, and also…in the context of the multiple other sexual innuendo massive in a different way (“shy but rude”)

The beat/riff you're talking about throughout the whole song is from The Police - Message in a bottle (which I believe was on Guitar Hero, actually, like Tman said), then the first third of the song is Jungle - Back on 74, and the middle is Ren's own rappity rap (with a shoutout to Nas - The world is yours) and the end is The Police again

When reactors can riff together quoting Ren song titles and know the lyrics etc, it’s obvious what real fans you’ve become. I tried to explain to a friend why I like watching reactions to Ren and they were sceptical, saying that reactions are all fake and just pander to fans by pretending to like things - I used you two as proof that you can tell genuine reactions :)

What I like is seeing reactors who do generally do a lot of acting hear Ren for the first time. They start out doing their usual act, then start paying attention & by the end they’re usually in awe. 😂

I did wonder where you were going when suggesting reactors might be acting…I have also seen that but they don’t interest me and don’t get a sub as I don’t see the point in someone pretending to listen for the first time when they’ve clearly studied something first, or they just pretend to be over the top impressed but they can’t actually /act/ 😂 Anyhow - realised that wasn’t what you meant - and yes, I actually really like those reactions were they are used to playing up and then there’s that moment they stop “acting” and just absorb…:)

You should definitely come to England! You could vlog your trip, and I'm sure the Brighton Renegades would take you round the places the videos were filmed, like the fish and chip shop from Genesis, the Laines from Sweet Little Lady, and the area used for Jenny & Screech. Also, in case anyone didn't say, the bassist in this video is Ren's friend Kai, who is a suuuper guitarist and also now runs Ren's Patreon, doing all the behind the scenes vlogs etc. Ren doesn't monetise the retakes, so he doesn't need permission but also can't put them on other platforms. I wish he could!

Can we just clip your vibing mash up - that was so fun! You two must be fun playing charade/heads up type games! We have a game I play with my kids- they call it “moms making us have family bonding game” It’s just random words we throw in a bucket over the days and then during this single moms forced bonding with the teen son, young son and little girl- we roll a dice to decide if it’s -singing-acting-draw-clues-siblings choice-personal choice… my teen son had to act out a “three legged dog” last night- He thought he would be funny and put that in the jar two months ago to try to stump myself or his 10 year old brother- and had the hardest time himself doing it- lots of laughs! You two remind me of my boys when I force bonding time- they finally forget they aren’t with friends or video games and just have fun giggling and being silly I am happy to see you giggle twins back on and congrats on the 6k!!!!

You can freely do a version of a track - you just can’t make money off it without getting agreement on the rights, OR paying the money to the original artist. In this case, as it’s not playing an existing recording, it would be the music and lyric writers who’s rights matter rather than the recording company who would usually own the rights to a particular rendition/recording. I don’t know if Ren monetised this track but I believe he didn’t monetise the Fred Again mash up.
