@stereomagic1 You cannot be jailed for failing to pay your TV licence, only fined. However, if you fail to pay the fine, this can ultimately lead to a custodial sentence. As for 'Why is the BBC a disgrace'? Bashir, Savile, Harris, Westwood, relentless lies about Trump, covering up allegations against Biden, political bias, WPATH. How many do you need? They're supposed to be impartial and factual.

I myself has not payed the License for so many years, i simply stopped the direct debits without informing them as im not legally bound to inform every company in the UK i dont require their services. I have managed to convince most of my family to cancel their licenses, explaining that you only need one if you watch live broadcast. Im so glad that this disgusting organisation doesnt get a penny off me or my family

The ABC in Australia was BASED on the BBC, unfortunately they have gone the same way as the BBC and are NOT widely supported or viewed, but we also have to provide $1.4 BILLION per year from taxes to support what the majority DON'T WATCH & DON'T WANT.

Yes, but their back catalogue belongs to us, all bought and paid for by government funds and the licence fee already, that should be stripped from them and the licence (maybe for four years?) to broadcast it auctioned off every few years, that money can fund it's maintenance and any remainder go to the treasury to help reduce our tax.

If you watch 'live TV', such as 'GB News', on RU-vid, you do need a licence. Plus, you need a TV licence to watch live TV from any country on any device. If you take a mobile device to another person's house, you still need a TV licence to watch live TV and BBC stuff. On-demand TV on other services do not need a licence.

Because i have to i want skyq and i have to pay the bbc tv tax even when i hardly put any bbc trash on. I rang sky up 1 day and said can bloock all bbc channels and the app the poor lass was like um um why i went well i dont want to have it i kno u cant block it but i bet it would not take much an update and sky can turn bbc on or off like it dose sport n filma. Now i would love this turn it off whwn u dont want it we need to get on at sky as many ppl would use this feature if we could i bet sky has to show its channels bet bbc gets its waylike

Don't bother, the Conservative Party will never do anything about this and they won't be in charge after the election anyway. Good for you, but there are women who've been denied treatment and even reported by the nhs to the police for holding gc views. One case was a cancer patient who was denied treatment, another was an abuse victim who was berated, while in stirrups, for requesting a female chaperone.
