White GMC Sierra 265 Wrangler Duratrac and Silverado 265 Wrangler Duratrac with Leveling Kit Vs. GMC Sierra 4 inch lift 315 BF Goodrich T/A KO2
It seems that the K02s might slightly out perform the Duratracs in deep snow however having a lifted truck also prevents bogging out upto the frame. Both tires are really good in snow and we had no issues getting stuck. Deepest part of the snow was a little better than 12 inches.
This is how we spend a Christmas afternoon at Castlebrook farm.

You're telling me the Goodyear tires worked so well that even when installed on a non-lifted truck, they performed as well in 1 foot of snow as the BFG's with a 4" lift? Wow.

Neither truck got stuck so that's like saying "wow your Prius went 60mph the same as a corvette that went 60mph. That's insane how the car with 90 hp can go the same speed as the car with 460." It's a comparison within limits. A comparison is only valid if you exceed the limits of one or both of the test subjects.

In 6" to 12" of snow as stated, yes. They all perform the same. Lift means nothing unless you go to extremes. Just making up for little man syndrome. As we say around here "sorry about your dick bro".....

i love my KO2's . My previous tire was the Duratrac, i did not care for them too much. a Very weak and thin sidewall and i didnt get that good of traction in the snow compared to the durable KO's.

I would say they are equal since the BFG K02s on the lifted truck had a couple more advantages, such as being wider and taller, 265 vs 315. 32" vs 35"? I am assuming air pressure and mileage on all tires were effectively about the same. Thanks for the video.

Yes, I would basically agree with that. I Tire pressure was set at recommended PSI so comparable. It's not a perfect comparison but gives you a idea and it's fun playing around in snow anyways. Glad you enjoyed the video :)

In truth it comes down to the driver. I have seen people put trucks with street tires in places where they should not of gone and come out and the same with big fancy mud tires tires and get stuck.

This video does not tell us which tire was better . This video should have been titled just playing around in snow . Seeing three trucks driving around didn't tell me anything about the tires . The title of this video says you're comparing tires I didn't see any comparison .

It wasn't a flat snow cover lot, it has small sloping. The video wasn't intended to be a tire comparison test, nor is it clickbait. We just wanted to share what we do for fun on the farm. Quite honestly though, I have watched some of the "true comparisons" and they often suck and are often biased. We are just showing a video, no sales-pitch, no bias just watch and enjoy or click out to a different video. Thanks for watching and sharing. :)
