I wanna comment here after having done mine today. That transfer case pinion nut is in 1 1/8 and tge axle side pinion nut is an 1 1/4. For the dana 44 in a Rubicon.
www.adamsdriveshaftoffroad.com/front-jk-install/ 15 ft lbs on bolts that mate driveshaft to yoke 160 ft lbs on transfer case nut which is 1 1/4" according to Adam's not 1 5/16 like video says. There is no way this video got it to the right torque spec, but they are removing it. 80 ft lbs on differential side bolts I'm going to swap mine this afternoon and this is the info i've founds so far. here is another good video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-I6PjDTLCQ3M.html I do always enjoy extreme terrain videos, so good work guys, not knocking on ya.
Does the jeep have to be on a lift to do this (asking specifically for needing the wheels to turn) or can the front be simply lifted on jack stands? if so, is there any problem with installing it at the angle its at while on jack stands?
