Kool Herc, Afrika Bambaataa, and Grandmaster flash all held park jams and were mobile DJ's Herc was the first and most influential and brought that tradition of toasting from Jamaica,as for Nasty Ness - (the Filipino) a Seattle DJ pioneer and national music figure of much respect (having promoted and broke many records over his career) was not being as inaccurate as you think
