Thank you so much!! Your tutorial is the best of the best. Even I'm surprised, the clumsy me can apply a pretty clean towel grip to my racket just by following your tutorial :)
Hi! Thanks for watching! After I removed the original grip, I apply a layer of PU Grip with no overlap on the wood, then I apply one layer of athletic tape on top of the PU. Hope this helps!
For this specific towel grip I would suggest that you rebuild your grip ie remove the original one and use either foam grip or PU overgrip to make a base grip of your preferred size before applying the towel grip. Despite being label "thin" it can make the grip quite chunky if wrapped on top of the original one.
Though I'm going to buy VICTOR's towel grip, is it able to stretch like YONEX DX towel? And is it different between VICTOR's roll towel grip and single towel grip? I really know it!
I have never tried the Yonex DX so i cannot comment on that. I have only ise the Victor towel grip which comes in single strips and i can confirm that it does stretch, which is good for avoiding creases on your grip.
How do you think Victor Gr334 vs yonex 402Dx towel grip or li ning towel grip ,also what different feeling for super thin towel grip and normal towel grip?
Thick towel grips will feel more comfortable because it will dampen the vibration form the racket, but on the flip side it will provide less feedback on your shots. It will depend on what you personally like, i find the thin version is better for me because i generally prefer a thin grip.
That actually depends on many factors, what's your grip size? Do you keep the original grip on? How far up the shaft do you want to apply your grip? Generally a single pack of gr334 is more than enough.
I'm not sure I understand what you mean. It is definitely possible to play with a towel grip. I play with a towel grip and i know many people who do as well.
