This was great, Wreck it Ralph is one of my top favorite films of all time & you did a great job bringing the film to life, some of the actors in this video even looked & acted a lot like the actors & actresses who played the main characters in the actual film!

Well, I tried to make the story beats make sense, so that a person who didn't know the movie could follow along (although I don't recommend it: watching the original first is best). It's complex in that I would have to explain who Turbo was first, and that would have taken too much time and distracted from the flow of the story beats of the main plot. I was considering having the King glitch out, but I figured it's best to leave that spoiler untold since I couldn't do it nearly as well in 60!

Yeah, at least we had sour bill. I love that character. Unfortunately there wasn't enough time for the other guy, but I also felt it was for the best because that is an amazing reveal that I didn't want to spoil.

It's ultimately true, however the short won first place in the Virgin Radio Fake Film Festival and it brought my skill level up/taught me some great CGI tricks, so I'm not complaining!

Hey, thanks so much! I'm paying the cast and crew of the video because they have to put up with me for free all year long: when money comes in it's nice to give people what they deserve. I'm using my share to pay off an upgrade to cinema 4d r14! My plan was to do a game of thrones video and then girls with swords. I think my pokemon script is too long, so I might start from scratch and try to tell a tighter story.

The youtube timing metric is slightly off. My FCP timeline shows 59:23 (one frame less than one minute), but if you don't believe me you can also use a stopwatch.

Actually, I think I spent closer to 400 with all the gear rentals, costuming, make-up supplies, catering. ect. Still it was a huge bargain, because everyone worked for free!
