I believe this tensioner isn’t adjustable, just has springs.

You should’ve used the small L hooks and the proper hookup is always on the bottom of the frame behind the tires

They’re mini J’s not L hooks and the slots I used are perfectly fine, been using them for years.

It only sounds like that under a heavy load when I have to drag something but normally it’s just smooth operating

I’m on a month long vacation after working 7 days a week for the last year and running my health down. What am I doing? Scrolling through RU-vid watching towing videos and ordering new gear 🙄. Have a freakin blood pressure monitor beside me with a bottle of Tequila lol. Anyhow, have you used the 8 point tie down straps from BA? Do these tie downs you’re using have a more durable webbing? I get a good discount on BA products but find the straps damage too easily, time for a change.

I hope that you are enjoying your vacation. You have to take care of the health. I haven’t used the 8 point tiedown from B/A. They use different material which is why they wear out faster. I know that B/A also makes diamond weave straps but the material is different. This material is much thicker and handles the abrasions well.

@@TowMan127I noticed that immediately after first seeing your videos, that diamond weave looks stout. Wasn’t aware about the stronger BA straps, have to take a look. Thanks, Fred.

And your bed is way too oily. That’s not safe. I understand the cars will slide off easier but you have gravity and the weight of the car on your side. I only use oil on AWD or if the emergency brake stuck on-most likely electric

I didn’t add the oil. I had a car prior to that one that was a wreck and leaked fluids all over the bed. I don’t use any oil or fluids to get stuff off the bed, unless I absolutely have to. I usually just use skates.

Good job cesar!! Watching your videos will certainly back your reply up. And if I'm correct I watch so many towing comp.vids: I think you used soap! Only once , on a video. Hope my memory is on the right company. Otherwise you know what your doing end of story. You rock ! King of towing as I see it.👍🏻💯

Also you took time to not just force stress on piont not intended to have those types of designed pressure points and reconnecting to a proper safer way for you and the care for the customers wellbeing indeed. That's what you do . Customers care! It's not just a hook and book! Again you ROCK.👍🏻

@@Itstre_305 yeah it sucks when it happens cause sometimes I’m not close to the yard to clean it up right away and I don’t like going to a car wash and making their place dirty. I’ve been towing 24 years now.
