Good show, 2009 is a very mixed bag year for the WWE! RAW on mondays was decent especially from the first half but was mostly bad and terrible, at least from January-April, it was good from the first half, but from May-December, it gotten worse. ECW on tuesdays was good, but wasn't watched mostly, and SmackDown on fridays, it's always amazing to watch. The PPV quality was fun to watch but was also getting stale, as for this show, it was nowhere near one of the worst WMs ever nor it was one of the best either. It is a one match show and it was a good show, the storylines were insane for this event, but it shouldn't been the 25th anniversary of WrestleMania, it was actually the 24th, the real 25th anniversary of WrestleMania for me is WrestleMania 26. The Money in The Bank ladder match opens the show and it is one of the best and better MITB ladder and opening matches in WM history than the last 15 years. I feel like Shelton Benjamin or Christian deserve to win the MITB Ladder match and cash it in for any world championship. Nobody expect CM Punk to win back-to-back Money in The Bank Ladder matches. The divas battle royal is skippable and one of the worst matches of the night. Chris Jericho VS WWE Legends is passable, funny Mickey Rourke punch Y2J funny in a post-match. The Extreme rules match is good and fun, spots were insane but was underappreciated and Matt Hardy winning is unexpected. Rey Mysterio beat JBL in 21 seconds to take the Intercontinental title and force Bradshaw to quit back to retirement. Undertaker/HBK is MOTN. One of the best WrestleMania matches of the last 25 years and should've been in the main event. Insane dives, sweet chin musics, chokeslams, tombstones, last rides, elbow drops, etc. It was one of the most shocking WM matches of the last 8 years. This is like me and other people jumping up and down. going downstairs, going upstairs and losing minds. In the end, Undertaker became 17-0 and finally beat Shawn Michaels since their feud took place in 1997. The World Heavyweight title triple threat match is entertaining. Cena lifting up Big Show and Edge on his shoulders for the AA really hype up the internet. The main event is average and disappointing and was destroyed by the fans and the internet. Why won't HHH/Orton match became a No DQ or Hell in A Cell match instead of the stipulations of having HHH losing the WWE Championship via countout or DQ? Randy Orton's big time main event career was ruined and buried and the WWE universe deserves better.
