Got a chance to meet ax at a small independent show back in 2008. I was still in middle school and the dude could not have been cooler. Easy to talk with and wasn't charging people extra for pictures. Me and my buddy painted our faces like demolition for the show. On his way to the ring he looked right at us and said " nobodies getting out alive!" Of all the wrestlers I've met he was by far the most pleasant and memorable experience.

The editing in these shows are magnificent, the clips compliment eachother well. Each guest contributes to an overall debate as if they we're all together in same room discussing these topics.

Its amazing how opposite Ax & Smash are. When I met them last year, I told them they were my favorite WWF team as kid. Ax just nodded his head & Darsow shook my hand & thanked me .

The finger poke of doom was my last time watching Nitro. I was disgusted because I wanted a Nash(Wolfpack) vs Hogan(Hollywood) match for over a year before the finger poke. They could have had the match for control of the NWO or anything else besides that. Just look at the reaction when Nash introduced Scott Hall. The roof came off the Georgia Dome that night. There had to have been some second thoughts when they saw that reaction.

Would be awesome if Sean could do another series like this. The other videos of this series have millions of views and iv found myself watching them multiple times.

I knew that the Invasion Angle was going to suck once Shane was announced as the owner of WCW. When Stephanie was said to be owner of ECW, I avoided the Invasion altogether. And it was doomed to failure so I missed nothing.

Exposing Kayfabe was practical in getting the ahletics boards out of wrestling but it also gave license to erode the plausibility of wrestling . Over all it was a bad idea . In terms of selling tickets it was good but in terms of putting forth a product that drew you in as though it were real it was bad . Now that the breaks are off the story lines need not be believable but merely entertaining .

Concerning #1, I feel like Sean left out the fact that David donated his earnings to the Owen Hart family

I don't know who did this list, but Stephanie McMahon owning ECW is not even close to being Top 5 Worst Angle of all time. There have been worse, such as Al Wilson & Dawn Marie's storyline, the Beaver angle with Mosh, Claire Lynch angle in TNA, basically any WCW angle in 2000. Hell, even that storyline with Hawk's alcohol usage.

That first one with Stephanie owning ECW was not so great but it did not get go away heat . It was one just didn't work .

When I started this list I immediately thought of HHH as Kane humping that mannequin. I was a big Kane fan and it wasn’t a fanboy thing. It was just legit stupid. We all started laughing when me and my friends saw it I didn’t follow WCW at that point. I never saw the Russo thing.

45:55 the only reason David Arquette got the WCW World Championship was that David Arquette played the lead in the movie Ready To Rumble which had a load of WCW wrestlers in it because the plot revolved are WCW, it’s wrestlers and Arquette was a super WCW fan who helps get his favourite wrestler Jimmy King his title and job back after King loses both in a match where DDP shoots on Jimmy King. So if David Arquette wasn’t in the movie or didn’t even make the movie he would’ve never won the World Title, also at least David Arquette is a big wrestling fan and got into the business nearly 20yrs later doing the Indy circuit and not working for WWE, AEW, ROH or Impact (I think he never did Impact as I’ve never seen it)

I get that Matt Borne had a lot of issues with drugs and booze but I like the guy . I would not drink with him , he was a miserable mean drunk but I would loved riding up and down the roads with him . He went way back in the territory days abd was always figured in pretty highly in every territory despite it being known he had demons . That was the calibre of his talent . Promoters were willing to roll the dice on him .

I legit laughed, rewatched, and laughed again at the intro to #3! "MAE YOUNG GIVES BIRTH TO A HAND!" On that, I think the (very stupid) idea was supposed to be that Mae was too old to have a child. But somehow she tried... and could only manage a hand. She can't do a whole baby, just a hand. And either they didn't have a toy baby hand prop, only a full sized hand and Vince was like "Fuck it, we're live", or that they thought for the sight gag a big hand worked better. But I always thought that was what they were trying for. She was too old for a whole baby, just a hand. Whether or not I'm right on that, it's dumber than dirt's inbred cousin either way.

Yeah the Finger poke of doom was pretty bad because it's like Sunny said, it's NOT what the fans wanted to see, they paid their hard earned money for that show and I'm sure they knew in advance that the main event of that show was going to be Hogan and Nash for the title. The thing is Nash and Hogan had beef in the story-line at the time, so why not have them have the actual match, that's one of the things that killed the nWo, a bit too many swerves, like too many ha ha we gotcha, that will invoke "yeah uh no go away" heat from the fans. Nash claims the plan was to put the title back on Hogan so that Berg (who Nash beat for the title by ending his streak) could have an entire stable to run through on his way back to Hogan, that was the plan, as I recall it didn't go that way at all. I think they could have did better, why not, have Nash and Hogan have a real match then do the "finger poke of doom" at the very end, I don't know, anything would have been better then what they did. Like I said the thing is, people WANTED to see the match because Hogan and Nash had been taken shots at each other for months leading up to that. Remember, the nWo was involved in civil warfare at the time, Hogan was leader of the black and white and Nash was the leader of the red and black aka the wolf pack,. It's like Darsow said here, yeah uh did we get an angle out of it, no we didn't, but like I said, without the risk of repeating myself, what made is to bad is because by doing that, you cheated the fans out of a main event that they paid their hard earned money for and that they wanted to legitimately see.
