29:38 I know everyone whined when Stevie said this, but now we all know it's true. Everyone babied Jeff and therefore he was never forced to face his problems. How many DUI's has it been?
And guys like RVD are still sitting there and acting like they shouldn't say anything and look like a "hypocrite", or something. I'd rather speak the truth and stand up for what's right, regardless of my own imperfections. And if you care about someone at all, you step in and tell them when they need serious help, as Jeff Hardy needs immediately.
@@RickC28 When he fell, his thought was to get the helmet back on as quickly as possible, and keep the segment going. As hilarious as the moment was, I appreciate his commitment to doing his job 😂
I want to see a podcast by waltman called "I was there". To hear the stories and to just see him sneak in historic events that he clearly wasn't there for but convinces people he was.
I'm no kliq fanboy but I don't get this meme. Has he ever said he was there for one of these things that he couldn't/even reasonably wouldn't have been there for? Every time I see this comment it's referencing an event that happened in a company he was working the time and very reasonably could have been there for. Not to say he 100% was, his brain is probably fairly fried and I can't imagine he remembers every detail - idk though, every time I watch these and he says that it seems like he likely was, in fact, there lol maybe i'm missing something tho idk
There’s so much irony when Sunny talks about Jeff Hardy putting people’s lives in danger. When she literally killed someone with a car under the influence of alcohol!
49:50 why is Vince Russo talking about when Sid broke his leg in the ring and Russo was called as a witness in court at his trial for? It’s absolutely nothing to do with Booker T messing up his promo on a live PPV
Can you blame him? Especially numbers 5 and 4...like, who cares? There's a practically endless list of way more well-known and egregious examples to choose from and those 2 entries seem completely irrelevant in comparison.
@@jonbourgoin182 I don't think Booker's n-word really belongs either. The botch isn't the funny part, his reaction is. Shoulda been Mean Gene's f-bomb or Sid's "We're live, pal!"
I remember for weeks after they’d mock Shockmaster on commentary. Heenan said “Oh boy here he comes! Hide the china!” and Zybysko said “He’s really not bad when he actually makes it to the ring!”
I've watched this a number of times and I still have the same questions/observations 1. Was Sandman in a car wreck before his interview? 2. How can Nash think that Sting's Spanish bit is worse than Hardy showing up pill drunk? 3. Why does all of Sunny's answers revolve around her? 4. I get Waltman's bitterness towards TNA, but he signed a contract to show up to events. If he was too stoned to be there too many times then he gets what he asked for. 5. Like others, I do wish that they could or would show the video that the wrestlers see. 6. Shock is pretty cool talking about his failed bit through all the videos.
Why does XPac always claim to have been at shows he wasn't at? Survivor Series 97, Royal Rumble 2005...he probably claims he was at the grassy knoll when Kennedy got killed.
Im 30. Didnt get into wrestling until around 25, am a big sports fan and finally caught the bug 4-5 years ago once i realized it wasn't "fake", just scripted. Channels like this and wrestling bios help add context to what i have been watching tryin to make up for lost time. Because of them i joined a wrestling dojo for 2 years but kept getting hurt snd i didnt have health insurance at the tome so had to stop but it was some of the most fun ive ever had. Our coach is a HOF and former champ, he was as nice and as humble as can be. A great coach.
I’m watching this much later after they were filmed… but i love these! The one thing that is aggravating though is how much almost each wrestler talks about themselves in contrast to the moment they are describing. They do this on the other countdowns too. If they were there or were in the building during the moment, i understand that. But for example when they talk about Vince McMahon tearing his quads.. almost everyone talks about when THEY got injured and how much it hurt…. And with all due respect… i don’t give a shit about that lol it’s not about you. Or New Jack talking about how much coke he did when they were talking about Jeff Hardy. Sonny and new Jack are for sure the worst ones on that too
Only BOTCHED moment I witnessed , and I was front row-tv taping, for ECW. Was when top rope broke while Mike Awesome was preparing to jump off on top of JT Smith. Two ring workers ran up close the turnbuckle but not up in the ring did a close inspection of it. I could see their reaction was "how did that happen". A week later on ECW tv; Joey Styles "the top rope just snapped!". You can see the ring guy run up close to inspect it.
Number 4 is a double botch as Batista wasn’t supposed to go over the ropes with John Cena he was meant to win the Royal Rumble that’s why Vince McMahon hits the ring all pissed off throwing his blazer (suit jacket) to the floor while walking down the aisle. So Vince McMahon blowing both his quads was the second botch, so for Vince McMahon it was a really bad day first the ending of one of your big 4 PPVs was botched then he blows out his quads when he hits the ring to give Batista and Cena shit for fucking up the finish
