It is crazy looking back on all the past fights we had, I can’t speak for my brother but I know it shaped me into the human being I am today. I’m glad we fought like we did, I think it also brought us closer afterwards…

I think both of you are somewhat right. You should enjoy certain parts of it otherwise why would you do that thing in the first place? But also your relationship with that thing will inevitably be tested and everything won’t be smooth sailing and always enjoyable. But if you really love that thing you’ll stick through.

Appreciate it man, I think it is so hard to really know what the truth is, really appreciate your advice maybe it truly is a combination of both… also there might just be different approaches to becoming a champion but just finding your own approach that has the core principles. I think the core principles would just be commitment, hard work, and reflection. As long as you keep showing up you are getting better, as long as you are working harder than someone else in the room, and as long as you are reflecting on the things that need to be worked on to ensure that your practice is efficient. Those are the most important things that I think of… but again you can never know if you are truly right so I guess the best course of action is to listen to what everyone has to say and determine if it will work for you.
