Avon Barksdale are you a sheep or just asking a question because the answer is simple. 1 90% of American rappers take it anal at bohemian Grove and sell out to the illuminati were as UK rappers and grime artists have real talent. If you like stormzy or chip then move on but if you feel akala and lowkey just to name a few then your on the same page.
I have been though some shit in my life. Wretch 32 sums up ambition & trying to rise above the cards you have been given. He picked a straight up 🔥 backing track & put everything into this it’s one of the best fire in the booth’s ever. It’s so authentic I just wish he could carry this energy to an album but we are blessed to hear this good. So many fire lines particularly in this particularly about being the best in your class, school or country When the U.K. does rap like this bar Naz & M.F. DOOM plus a few others not many compete.
Bro I like u my G because there's a lot off Americans I've watched n they can't hear thought da accent n just fake it but bro I can see you hear it. Love love my brother n all da best.
U.K leaving the U.S behind, real lyricists, our Bars have real messages and content, unlike some of the New age U.S rappers repeating the same lines over and over and over again. #Trippie Red, Tekashi 69, etc etc.
Giulio Stifanese I have to admit the UK rap def has been better than us hip hop it ain’t even rap no more just shit that don’t rhyme we do have Cole,Kendrick,JID,Joey Badass and they’re quite underrated compared to these trash mumble rappers that get millions of views in minutes they’re more about quantity over quality
@@stokeyvillian hes right though lool if you respect lyricism and were unbiased you would know america still has some of the best lyricists its just pop culture is what we are force fed and they are publicised as much
Lately death's been getting ever so close Been feeling spirits while I'm driving, I should get me a ghost Growing up didn't know the difference between the road and my home Now I'm grown, I'm trying to buy every home on my road Take-a-away's been over-rinsed, I need a chef to come and live with me Last time I picked up a pot, I nearly killed a fiend I don't see a potent rapper out here that can mirror me When I gave my kidneys to these kids, you must be kidding me Do you remember playing Operation? That's how I feel about these compilations Think they're the next Dr. Dre until they lose their patience Saying the games in a state, man, that's an understatement I'm mean, how much more gems can I drop on the future? How much of my fans might just not buy my new stuff? We've all got bars but nobody here's a brewer I'm bringing a sandwich to the beach in the hope of finding a tuna This is nonsense, past tense I'm a rap genius, I've passed sense So if you ain't got a 2-1 and you ain't 3-2 you've gotta graduate before you pass Wretch We got off on the wrong foot because you half-step Meanwhile I'm getting restless because I can't rest 21 hours I'm awake the other 3 I'm in a daze writing what to say with my last breath Can you not hear the difference? Even when it's in your system Every time I flipped the script I got a scripture I've seen man go from the strip to the strip club I'm trying to go from eating rich tea, to the rich club I used to want to go from the bitch to the brits, cuz And then I realised that it's a fix when your skin's dark Should I do a Kanye and keep it trilla? Fuck that, even when I lose I'm the winner I'm the people's champ, let me thank the people Who never got the point until they grabbed the needle Niggas tried to minus my pluses just to divide my people You go from stepping on roaches to stepping by the Beatles It's progression at it's finest, they say my weakness is kindness I kill them with success, because it's timeless Every verse is a verse from the chapter of writing The writing's on the wall we known who destiny's child is Uh, King Kendrick or Jermaine Cole? Or are you saying King Wretch'ed or Jermaine's cold? I'm trying to lay the Blueprint and give you Reasonable Doubt So when you Watch the Throne they can see me Change Clothes Hang on, wait, you best believe that I'm a general Cos one of us has gotta compete at all the festivals And I've been out here rapping for free But before my testicles drop, man, I'm so credible I'm incredible They say a promise is a comfort to a fool I'm lying if I say I want to live in comfort I'm the truth And this'll be the best Fire In The Booth And I doubt they'll tell you different when I'm standing in the room Boy, different class, sometimes you have to ask Do you want to be the best in your country or your school? In a country full of rules Where we're selling lollipops to keep them sucking on our balls It's survival of the fittest so I'm Mo Farah I'm black as Akon trying to find my own gaga The less mercy you show, could leave you merciless alone But I'm yard grown so I'm taking no bad ups And Tidal's got the whole world moving crazy It's like they'd rather free Spotify playlist That's messed up like the cops on the day shift Who just can't stop and searching without tasing Shit seems shocking when you're reading about it 6 years old they was raiding my house, shit Trying to find my uncle, didn't open my mouth, shit My dad might of killed me, no snitching on our ship The Titanic ain't going down because of me See I can't swim, but I'll be the anchor for the scene See how did they expect musicians to stay afloat? When all our sales keep going down a stream
I'm not a native English speaker. I've been studying English for a few months, then I've listened to Wretch's verse and I got almost nothing of what he says: and yet, I was feeling like there was something really hard in there. So I kept studying English every day, and every single day I would listen to that verse a couple of times. Day by day I would get something more, but I still missed a half of it. But the more I understood, the more I enjoyed. This morning I've listened to it maybe for the 100th time, and I GOT THE LINES. Maybe I still miss a couple of them, but just because of the slang and some cultural references. The poetic impact grew clear to me, and as I realized that, I've been drowning in a fall of goosebumps. It's like reading Shakespeare, or any great poet. BTW, if there's any English mate reading this comment, would you mind showing up with a reply? I'm still trying to understand what he means by "I used to wanna go from the beach to the bricks cuz".
Rolando G he said “I used to wanna go from the bits to the brits” the bits is slang for the ends, the roads - basically going from the poverty/streets to the brits - the brits is an award show in the U.K., so he wanted to go from rock bottom to being celebrated but then he realised its a fix when your skins dark ie - the whole scene is rigged against you if you’re black
Go for wretch 32, kano, avelino which are ex underground but also hitting the charts but for real underground conscious woke hip hop then mic righteous/reckless, or pretty much any artist from high focus record label
2018 found you after the Eminem mgk battle and had to come back to watch all you old stuff. I’m still blown away by the bars these u.k. Artist have. Keeps it up

Looking at this reaction video from two years ago and seeing the ones you doing now...you've really worked hard and you deserve every single blessing life had to offer❤✊
Thats a big reaction its good seeing this vid bro! Seeing a londoner get the ratings he gets from an american its big. Hands down best fire in the booth to date!
Thank fuck theres a reaction channel that actually listen to the bars rather than just bobbing their heads. You and Zias are real reactors. Got my sub💰
This was the 1st video I seen you do. Repping my boy wretch. Instant sub that day. You got 2mill subs my brother. I salute the grind. Well.played.my.brother.
Wretch is Leagues above any other rapper I have heard worldwide, his wordplay, meaning and theme are unfortunately beyond the comprehension of most people, it requires multiple listens of each track and time to think to fully understand his message, Wretch is a rap genius
The one with the dreads is "Wretch Three Two" bro, its great you cover UK artists too! i think your channel is great, the way you react sometimes has me dying lol :)
Feels like you bout to go on a journey through UK's rap scene lmao. All the recommendations are good but I'd add Dave's Fire in the booth to the others that have been suggested.
Shaq watched a lot of American you tubers reacting to this. You have the deepest understand of UK scene by far. Some don't seem to fully get past the accent difference, cant quite pick up 100% of lines.
Just came back to check how long I been apart of nlg and yep right fro. The beginning much love Shaq keep it up even though you've kinda made it in my eyes ❤
How can you have tiochfaidh ar lá as your pic, no peace without freedom as gaeilge as your name and then say, "my fellow Brits" ??? You've hurt my head more than Wretch's bars
Avelino just dropped a new fire in the booth, you need to check it out! Other things to react to: wretch 32 Daily Duppy S:05 EP:22 Swiss - Daily Duppy Krept & Konan Fire in the booth Krept - Last night in lagos Lowkey fire in the booth Dave - Question Time Dave - Fire in the Booth
Bruh I’m about to start posting this on every video I watch of yours😂 Black Thought Freestyle on Funk Flex🔥 your favorite rappers favorite rapper bruh🙏
i’m hella late to this, but so much of today’s british rappers put so much meaning behind their songs. but like, these are in their own category of rap, like dave he is out of this world with his logic at such a young age
