The first US guys I’ve seen catch that last bar! Nice. At the beginning Wretch also says ‘Feeling spirits while I’m driving I should get me a ghost’. In addition to your analysis, the figure at the front of a Rolls Royce is called the ‘spirit of ecstasy’ which links the wordplay further. Wretch 100% killed that like every other FITB. The UK homies killing it overseas with the rap game. I haven't heard many artist from UK but the few that I have are so unique and stylized differently that it makes me want to hear more. Avelino came out the gate on fire with those slick bars and Wretch wasn't to far behind with his Titanic/Snitching scheme. Overall great freestyle and great reaction Lost In Vegas.

Crazy thing is, this level of rap is common in the U.K.

A great artist, who happens to be a UK rapper is Dave. His lyrics are so real, and is great at story telling. I would HIGHLY recommend his song call Panic Attack (live)...the lyrics and delivery alone is bone chilling, and he plays the piano as he is rapping it. I don't recommend much on here, but that's one of them I feel confident in. As always...I truly appreciate you guys, as an avid music lover, who feels alone in his views, you give the vibe that we are in the conversation with you. The importance can't be understated. I usually agree with 90% of your opinions and analysis, and the other 10, I can fully see your side, and reasoning for them. Just fantastic work, and great chemistry. Again, fully appreciated. Have a a beautiful week guys. #FreeThinkers Sorry, since on the subject of UK rappers, my soul won't allow me not to also recommend Stormzy - Ultralight Beam (Kanye West cover)..it is simply beautifully done, and every lyrics he spits is explaining his life, and its undeniable talent, and art.

You guys did a very good job to take in the lyrics compared to other channels. Well done. Avelino’s verse was easier to take in because the punchlines were somewhat more universal. They were also more overt in delivery so it was easier to anticipate what he was saying had correlation. Wretch’s verse was more mature in the sense that he built you up to punchlines through subtle and overt references. His storyline was also better because he touched on social themes.. it wasn’t just about the punches but the overall message. If you weren’t from the UK a lot of those references you might not get. I love Wretch and for that reason I was bias before even listening. Because he’s such a legend automatically you would under rate Avelino. But the more I listen to this the more I realise when it comes to this video it’s really about preference. If you like someone that’s literally going bar for bar, punch every line.. Avelino definitely won. If you’re looking for overall swag/confidence, flow, storyline, references and punches then that’s where Wretch is much more seasoned. Wretch has reached a stage in his writing where it’s less about show boating and more about substance of the message. Only punch when you need to or it becomes too predictable and taken for granted. Leave enough room so that when you go for the kill it’s appreciated. You can catch a deep vibe just off his flow alone.. without any punches. And that goes to show that he’s really perfected his all round game. In saying that his verse was still overly witty! Avelino defo a monster and shouldn’t be underrated just because of how much Wretch is valued. The guy is 26 too! Listen without the preconceptions of their accolades and you’ll be more objective. They equally killed in their own way.
