Relive the final, dramatic moments from the 2017 Premier League Final as Peter Wright looked to stop Michael van Gerwen from winning it for a third time.
What am I doing here? I’ve never played, nor watched, darts in my entire life. Its 1am and I have an assignment due for tomorrow’s online school *But I can’t stop watching*
Get yourself a board and darts, set up video chat with a mate, have a couple of beers, enjoy life the best you can, because covid here for a long time, cheers from Aussie
Yes sometimes life is hard. Mvg should have beaten Taylor in the 2013 worlds and he also shouldnt have missed all these match darts in the worlds 2018 against Cross. Tension can fuck you up sometimes.
that last leg from MVG was just sheer brilliance. Wright was nervous with them six darts at double and in fairness deserved the title pushed Van Gerwen all the way in this final and that 180 from MVG was unbelievable for him to hold his nerves to hit that 180. both astonishing
This eats me up every time, I love them both so happy either way but man that hurts. That opening 180 in opening of the final leg might be the dirtiest 180 of all time
Bought a dartboard. Hung it on my wall and instead of playing I ended up watching 4hours worth of professional dart playing. Since I watched this on RU-vid I am now a pro 🤣🤣🤣
This win would have silenced the fans who said he only won the UK Open because Van Gerwen wasn't playing in it.....but he screwed it up at the last minute after that great setup too!!
People talking about Bully Boy choking in finals need to watch this and remember how long it took for Peter to break his duck, Michael Smith will become a serial winner soon, when he wins that first
I remember this it was one of them times when u just know Wright would lose missing all them match darts against Michael was heartbreaking for him though
I love both these players. This is always hard to watch. Mvg is just a killer. Peter needs to work on his phyc and he can be the best there is. Mvg just has a brain of stone. Don't get nervous and always fires the darts the same. Peter was just so shook. No idea why he steps away and takes 5 seconds on that 9th out dart. U can't think on this stage. U gotta do what u train for hours to do. Hit the double! Love u Peter.
