As a walker and a former Wilmington resident (way back in the 80's), this looks like a great walking route. I did a couple sections of the walk back in December when I was there for a day. I can almost smell the marsh looking at this. Thanks. -H
Hey - if you get bak this way, be sure and check out the loop - it's an awesome place to be and enjoy the scenery!! Also the Halyburton Park in Wilmington is a good trail as well.
Carolina Beach has always had a bad reputation due all the bars. Growing up on Wrightsville in the early 70’s, there was not that problem. Mainly surfers smoking a little weed. Also the price to stay/live in Wrightsville was quite expensive where by Carolina Beach was a flea bag market. However, that was not the case for Kure Beach.
