She seems obsessed with appearing as an intellectual when she just comes across as a dull self serving narcissist. And simpletons like you feed her ego.
the notification for this video arrived as i am writing my novel. i took a 15 minute break to watch this and get coffee and i feel so inspired after doing so. i adore you, lady dakota!!
i would love to be a morning person. it really is an honour to be up in the morning when the city is asleep and the sun peaking over the horizon. however the night is when i prowl, it’s freeing and i can be who i want to be, without the pressure of the world resting on my shoulders
I found this channel yesterday and you are so inspiring! I used to write a lot when I was younger, but haven’t written for myself since my senior year of high school. A couple years ago I had a bit of inspiration and wrote outlines for a story idea, but then did nothing. But now I think I want to get back into it!
I wanted to read Dakota's novel anyway (of course, anything for Lady Dakota), but the quote 'A girl-wolf. An abomination.' makes me want to read it all the more.
this has nothing to do with the video but in a video of yours i watched a while ago you recommended carmilla and i’m so glad you did, it was the first classic i’ve read and i loved it so much
I want to write a poetry book but I’m still not there yet! I’m just in a writing slump 😭 Also what’s your favourite books, I want to do a video reading all your favourites! 🐞
I love your videos a lot and I’m not much of a commenter unfortunately but I wanted to say thank you inspiring me to write my own stories after a year of zero inspiration.
How can I buy On Sun Swallowing if I'm from the Philippines? Love you with my whole heart and soul Lady Dakota, I can't wait to finally read your works.
hey I’m from the Philippines and I’m pretty sure they ship worldwide although if you buy it from here the shipping fee will be very high so that’s one thing to note, you can buy on her site though!
@@dakotawarren 4:17 "the object of all my desires and the bane of my existence" was said by anthony bridgerton in season 2 (but he says 'the bane of my existence' first and the former last !) it didn't occur to me that you haven't seen the show, a pretty coincidence me thinks !
Thank you, Dakota! Gearing up on my second major writing project and was interested in how you use/structure/flow your time and process. Great video for ppl who are hoping to get a glimpse into what a writer's day might look like for someone. 🤍🕯
Hello, i am when to discover your video. And in the same time discover the fact that you use your public name instad of a pen name. And i wanted to ask you what did you have make this choice ? i ask because i write too and i am just arriving in this world
I am 3 weeks into my creative writing major and I want to thank you for being such an inspiration to me, you are one of the people who fully made me realise my passion for writing. I can't wait to read your novel bestie
Okay I love you but why do you believe in astrology? I don't want to make fun of it as I am a firm believer that one has the freedom to believe in what they want. It's still somehow puzzling to me.
@@dakotawarren Maybe that came to my mind because I follow you on tiktok and there you make often comments about astrology. Which is again not a wrong thing to do. It can be fun and I know how our mysoginistic society wants us to hate everything teenage girls enjoy. Astrology to me just suggests a dangerous fatalism, a loss of individuality and just bugs me with its generic statements. Although I find the psychology behind why people believe in it fascinating. Especially as it defies all logic. ( A little fact you probably know: The zodiac system was created around 2,500 years ago and is based on the constellations as they were then. Which of course have changed a lot due to movements in the last 2,500 years and are now no longer correct). Maybe the beauty in it though is that there must not be any logic. But I'm sorry again. I'm well aware that I'm being a buzzkill and that I take it far too serious. Its just my atheistic talking ass speaking who scribbles when she is bored on her school desk "Religion is the opium of the people" (Karl Marx) I'm btw not a native speaker so excuse my bad writing💧💧
