this channel is just slay in general I’m trying to write as much as i can but I usually barely get three chapters in before a new idea for another project pops up 😭 I’m glad for the ideas but it’s getting annoying, especially when I haven’t even decided what I’m going to do with my other projects yet (I’m definitely a pantser-plotting just drains the motivation straight out of me LOL) that aside, can’t wait to see how your book turns out. good luck to all nanowrimo-ers on this journey that will surely drive you insane, if you aren’t already

I’ve been watching your vlogs for a while and finally decided to dip my toes back into writing again. This is my first nanowrimo. Currently, I’m at 9,000 words. I’m having a lot of fun but maybe it’s because it’s the beginning stages 😅 anyways, this video is very motivating.

Hey Ana, you can do this. Everyone goes through these times but with the right mindset and timing, you can overcome those times. For me, writing at least ten pages a day is not easy but watching your videos really help. Btw, I love you and your vlogs. Good luck!

Oh my goodness the struggle is real!! I honestly have been struggling myself with distractions from my family--except my mother--who don't understand the importance of writing to me. And then I just have to get sick with the flu and I feel so sluggish and NOT in a mood to write! Watching you rave over the construction made me laugh despite feeling so bad for you Ana! Haha! I’m doing nanowrimo too! It’s really difficult for me to not constantly change things in my plot, I have done that a bit but I’m trying my best not to because I know it’ll be hard to finish my novel if I do that, I definitely need to become more confident in my writing

i’ve been super busy out of nowhere this month and it’s been making reaching my daily word goal quite a workout but i’m so proud of myself for having reached chapter 4! it’s crazy how when we make writing a priority even when it’s tiring it’s actually so fulfilling 😍 p.s. from one southern hemisphere baby (brazil here) to another i totally feel ya with the sunny weather being a little fatiguing 😅

hey love, I really really admire your consistent work schedule. I'm tryna be like you lol - juggling medicine and writing is difficult, but you somehow manage to motivate me to do it everytime. I had an idea for what my characters would look like but when I finished my artbreeder portraits it’s almost as if they brought themselves to life. There are now details of my characters, even down to their nicknames, I would have never thought of if I hadn’t have used the site!

To everyone struggling: Don't worry you'll get there eventually. Ngl the other day I nearly forgot to write 😂, but I remembered last minute so it's good. Haha the construction thing reminds me of this one time when builders were legit hammering into the wall that separated my room to the other side of the house, and I slept through it until my mom woke me up. I didn't even faintly hear the hammering! I can see the Ned thing now that you pointed it out, I can see it. Congrats on 6k.

Im....struggling. This is my first nano and it is really hard! So far I'm doing good but I don't really like what I'm writing. I'm probably going to have to rewrite a lot and that just bothers me. I have already wrote the book but the beginning was "bad" so that's what I'm writing this nanowrimo. they could be chased by a secret organization who takes kids and takes all their info and makes their parents forget about their kids or something and the kids try to run away from that secret organization, leading them to run away from their family and meeting each other? And the girl detective could volunteer to be a spy for the organization and whatever info she gets she tells to the gang members? I’m not sure but I hope you get ideas! (Sorry if my idea wasn’t clear)

Last year I wrote 50K in 25 days so this year writing every day the 1667 Words seems almost chilled :) I really like the way you write. Super poetic. The part you read sounds good to me. Poetry doesn't have to rhyme. At this point in time me and my friend have been assigned to write a 20 chapter novel and we have chapters planned up until chapter 8, let me explain our problem. Writers Block. I’ll tell you the plot. There’s this girl Avery, one day after cleaning out her grandma’s apartment she finds a journal, she later finds out this journal writes everything that is happening at the exact second but not in the future, meaning that the pages towards the end are blank. One day after her best friend is over the book goes missing, the next day at school she goes through Riley’s (the best friend) bag. She finds the book, that night she flicks to the end and realised that it had a date written down and below that it said *died* she then starts to freak and worry. Then her and Riley get into a fight, but in a couple days she is meant to die. That day rolls around and she doesn’t die, but you know who did die, RILEY! So then Avery gets all upset as the last thing she said was ‘I hate you’. And so Avery tries to jump of a bridge but someone stops her/the water was running so it didn’t break her fall. We have absolutely no idea what to do from there! DO YOUR THING RU-vid! GIVE ME IDEASSSSSSS

Today writing was quite hard for me. I came back so late and was sick from friday to sunday and I just physically and mentally couldn't do anything. I also seem to hate everything a wrote so far but when I reread it I think it might be fine. I can relate to the construction, however it's not actually construction. I have an autistic family member and they tap on walls and the floor and it sounds like construction. I also relate to having to stop writing to go to work, but can't relate to the not writing because of TV, since I barely watch TV😂 I am definitely a plotter. I need to know where I am going in a story to keep from 😵‍💫😵🤯. I thrive on structure and couldn't possibly pants my way through a book. 🤣🤣🤣
