Thanks! Yes the analysis of Gellner’s work was hard to grasp (cause we haven’t read Gellner!) so that’s why I skipped that in the video.

The audio in todays video is a little better than yesterdays vid, but it's still not good. It's still far too much of - so to speak - "the sound of silence". Still too much difficulties hearing what you say...That's a pity, in particular since I've actually read at least one of Asad's most important books, "Genealogies of Religion: Disciplines and Reasons of Power in Christianity and Islam", 1993.
