LOL, the little “I’m just Ken” lines after admitting something silly yet relatable thing that you do as an adult got me. 😂💀 Edit: I truly believe that we all have a bit of weird Barbie in us because she represents that silly, ridiculous, weird, strange and maybe somewhat fucked up side of ourselves that makes us a bit more unique. We also have different versions of other Barbies within us but we all have some amount of weird Barbie within us. 🤓 Also, I can really relate to using words in grammatically incorrect ways. My mind always tries to justify it by saying if it sounds right is should be right. 😅 Later edit: Honestly, as far as references go, the girls that get it get it, the girls that don’t won’t. Like that’s just the way with references, there’s no such thing as a universal reference so why police peoples reference ya, know? 🤷🏽‍♀️ Thank you for another video! I found it relatable and it made me feel a little better. 😊

Love writing vlogs!! Also, the Taylor Swift blanket that we saw in a quick shot was super cute, hope you had fun at eras! As somebody who’s 23, though I haven’t actually watched who wants to be a millionaire or friends, I def am familiar with those shows, they’re very in the zeitgeist, I don’t think a reference would at all be out of place! Also, I feel like flatly can be used ironically - it just depends on context you know? Maybe you could say that somebody was speaking in a “deliberately flat” manner to make it clear, or just cave and use deadpan a bunch lol! 😋

Loved this writing vlog, as always. I thoroughly enjoy watching these videos, seeing as they make the writer in me so happy. Congrats on making it this far into Book 3! I cannot wait to read it once it comes out! (Also, as someone who’s Gen Z, I always find myself wanting to write characters who are around the same age as me because I find that I relate to them a lot more…obviously).

Dedications are hard. I dedicated my first book to my dad because I published it on his birthday. My second book, I dedicated to my best friend because she and I used to do online role play and I wouldn't have the idea for that story without all of that. And, she's my best friend! Future books are gonna require some thoughts.

I have soooo many things to say about this video. First, please please please come to Huntington, WV!! Second, I’m 22 and I understand the who wants to be a millionaire, friends, and new girl references. So boooo to your copy editor. Also, I understood exactly what you meant by carouselled (idk how to spell that lol) and I understood exactly what you meant by flatly. Oh! It's the Lady Gaga chant! Halestorm has a cover of this song! I want this even more now. I can play Halestorm - Bad Romance version on the jukebox and sway. Then, I can follow it up with Lady Gaga - Dance in the Dark. Cheers to the days of glory.
