Great video! I know this is about how to use LaTex but just wanted to point out that you accidentally differentiated root (u) instead of integrating it. It should be 2/3 u ^ (3/2).

how do you get it to open in pdf-view in the right panel ? minne keeps opening it in the osX system viewer

Thanks for the short tutorial, it was helpful. Could you specify which Atom packages you use to do your editing? I have latex, language-latex and latexer/latex-autocomplete (can't quite tell yet which of the 2 is better, the former has twice as many users tho) installed, but I'm not getting suggestions as I am typing, is there any way of enabling this functionality? Any specific settings you could recommend that would make the whole process easier (I'm new to Atom as well)?

I was wondering why my output wasn't looking right even though it seemed I copied your code exactly. Took me a few minutes to realize that the character before textbf was not a vertical bar, but an italicized backslash. I would have expected it to be a backslash, since all the other meta elements were prefixed that way, but being new to latex, I just thought this was some syntax that I wasn't familiar with.

Question: do you use a tablet (scratchpad) to solve the equations and then transcribe them in LaTeX? You are not recommending using LaTeX to solve the problems; only using LaTeX to create the final work to submit for grading, correct?

How do i set up latex with atom?

I know you are most likely not going to see this, but could you please explain how your LaTeX has a dark theme? I am pretty sure I have installed all the updates and it looks nowhere near as slick as yours. It also misses most of the icons and it looks completely different. Thank you in case you invest the time in answering to this question!

Idk what is the point of learning latex, when you can writte a lot faster in other softwares and copy/paste in latex formatting 20 times faster
