I'm guessing the tree didn't fall on the car that long ago. Sad to see but I'm glad she wasn't scrapped before that. I had a 75 SDV and loved that car. I want another 74 some day but I want black on black. For me I like the 74 with the round headlights the most Thanks for posting, the yards there also have many late model vehicles as well
Mr. B. Here ! 🍩☕️👀😎👍. Ok , Last of the land yachts does not alway mean the very last of them ; my late father in-law had 1976 Coupe DeVile , his bother had a 4 door ! Eldo was the last convertible how do I know this ; I own one . 1977 vehicles were more realistic. Have a nice day ! 🍩☕️👀😎👍
I remember someone had a tree fall on the roof of their work van, and he'd claimed that it would have cost 10K to repair it, and insurance totalled it out.
I think someone with a screw jack and a thick block of wood could crank that roof up at least enough to do more fine- reshaping. Maybe take out the front seats to make room for the jack, or cut the roof off a lesser donor car and weld it on.
Whoa Nelley, the wood didn't do it any good. Pippen Motor Company is still in business at 1300 W Panola St, Carthage, TX 75633, but it's a Chevrolet, GMC and Buick dealership. We got the VIN, we win: 6 for Cadillac, D for DeVille, 49 for four door sedan hardtop, four window, S for 500 CID V8 with four barrel, 5 for 1975 model year, Q for Clark Street, Detroit, MI assembly and the rest is the production sequence. The Clark Street plant as noted operated from 1921 to December 1987. As stated many times, you made it in the world if you arrived in one of these. The 500 CID Cadillac V8 is an ultimate torque monster and a beast of an engine. They are quiet and smooth runners. No tag, can't brag, but can be figured out, no doubt: ST75 for 1975 model year, 6CD49 for Cadillac (6), DeVille (CD), four window four door sedan hardtop (49), FWD for Fleetwood Body Plant, West End Ave, Detroit, MI with final assembly at Clark Street, possible 443 for Antique Medium Jasper leather interior trim, 44 for Jasper Green lower exterior paint, possible A for white vinyl top, 03A, B, C, etc. for a given week of March 1975 production, among other codes. Whoa Nelley, too bad, so sad. That's it, time to quit. Cadu and it's over for you. Jasper Green is about to leave the scene. 500 and gotta go. Carburetor by Edelbrock is nothing but a big crock. Quadrajet was a sure bet. Going to be flat and that's that. Lots of junk in the trunk. Hit by a branch, it needed another chance. Please don't get squished because the Cadu faithful, many here, and yup the Google Man are going to be very, very, very, very pissed.
I have three 1976 Cadillacs they're all in the project stage, but they're in better shape than this car. Lot of valuable Parts on that big Lead Sled. I'm alive today because I was riding in a 1976 Cadillac wind T-boned by another car doing 80 mph. Can't do that with modern cars.
