I knew this was not ideal :) but i did not expect to be able to measure me walking or a heavy car parking in front of my house :)
image is dark, i forgot the ISO was stuck on 400 :)

Additionally there is (M.F.B.) from rythmic audio in them, providing feedback to an additional second coil, which has a very protected wire, such a system can also work correctly on an isodynamic membrane.. but their circuit is customized for their own coils (they need a technician who specializes in circuit design to make a correction in the circuit for a different coil)...

well that would be servo i believe ? yeah i thought about using a second coil on the back. problem i might have is crosstalk from one coil to the other been bigger then the signal it makes just because of moving in a magnetic field :) but it is on the list :) nice thing about it , if it ever works, you get a signal based on the entire foil

Hahahaha -- that's unfortunate. And rather funny...

As far as I understood correctly you attached the accelerometer sensor directly to the isdynamic diaphragm, of course it is a good idea to reduce the distortion of the planar panel with the help of M.F. B (servo control), I myself like these systems very much, but the panel film is relatively light, the accelerometer sensor [as part of the mounting plates] has a decent weight/like for use in this kind of radiators, which causes its local resonance (zone resonance), I assume that this system with this type of accelerometer can not work correctly on the isodynamic radiator.... In order to realize the M.F.B (servo control) system, the cone must have stiffness and work in piston mode, which is easily achievable in dynamic loudspeakers, of course in a given frequency range for a particular loudspeaker. . usually it is the most problematic part of the low-frequency diapason of 20-300 Hz, although there are realizations in the entire frequency range, but in multiband ace (for each band is put M.F.B, with a separate amplifier for each band of course). Although if you glue only the axelerometer itself directly to the diaphragm and lead out from it the thinnest wires to the nearby located board, perhaps it will work because the axelerometer itself "Murata" weighs much less than 1 gram.... But for the correct realization you will need MFB optical with optical sensor there is the principle of LED shines on the surface and reflects the beam into the light-sensitive sensor on this principle and this system works exactly the same only on the diaphragm does not need to glue anything! Also there are microphone M.F.B is attached microphone directly in front of the diaphragm and it corrects the perceived sound pressure distortion, only requires a special capsule from a professional microphone, which costs about 100$ and has a dynamic range that is about 140-150db well and works below 20 Hz... There are realizations of such schemes, but with mikrrfonna I know exactly there are schemes that people repeated, but with optical sensors usually did not meet schemes, these proektov are realized at the developers themselves and they sell them but details do not disclose, (information is in the network but I know only from the countries of the former Soviet Union). If interested, I can give links.

well it is not a accelerometer, in this case thats the beauty of the whole idea. but a light sensor and a few LED's , it measures the refelction that changes with amplitude/excursion so it is an optical sensor ! problem in this video is :) the mount for the optical sensor is not connected to the speaker itself , so if the speaker moves... the optical sensor will pick it up :) while the foil itself is not moving

@@joppepeelen cool idea👏👍! I haven’t watched all your latest videos, I’ll watch it first to be more aware of what’s going on😼. Good luck with your implementation👌

no problem , take your time :) there is a new one where i try to explain how it works... and what might be the biggest issues. with a planar magnetic
