Whistletop Rail Productions Anytime! Yes it definitely sounds a lot different than the high pitch whistle she usually wears...but I like this whistle.

Trainman3985 Yes...at second listen, the whistle does resemble 611. Very good ear.

The shining head lamp of the PM 2-8-4 #1225 looks much brighter than the modern LED lights.

At 4:19, this is a half mile from my house... And I take it for granted being an engineer's son when I hear the 1225 sound off. Two shorts a long and a short. Show that engineer 4 lanterns raised high !!!!

Personally I like the J Class whistle on 1225 better than her normal whistle or the 5 chime from the PE movie,

Doesn't it seem odd how the cabooses are directly behind the locomotive instead of bringing up the rear

Hey Katerina...Yeah, and there's a good reason for that. First and foremost, people who ride in them pay a PREMIUM PRICE for that positioning which is WELL above the coaches behind.
