thats the only plus about it, everything else is ugly. not to mention the performance ratings i seen it would have to be atleast stage 2 to give a stock 13 wrx a run

***** Oh yeah, the new 2.0 is a great deal better than the outgoing model. Better fuel economy, better handling, cleaner appearance. My salesperson purchased her Impreza 2.0 same day I bought my WRX and she loves it. Symmetrical AWD brought me through last winter on my stock performance tires...in snowy western NY.

you're from western ny? im in the buffalo area. im kind of disappointed in this honestly, i was told the wrx was going to go its seperate ways from the impreza. i owned a 12 wrx with approx 350 whp and i agree that transmission is the worst! as mad as i was, im happy i upgraded to the sti because i like the current style. its pretty cool the wrx finally has a 6 speed too, but enough wrx, lets see the new sti features!

i highly doubt we will ever see the glory that was the 22b again, that said i love this new WRX.

mm this one will out handle, out paste it etc its getting torque vectoring now, bigger brakes, better suspension, double wish bone at the back, stiffer chassis by 50%, better rubber, a better engine an fa20 turbo..... with peak torque at 2000 so turbo spools even at low revs.... and is suppose to pull to 6,700 rpm peak power is at 5,500 and it holds it for like another 1,200 rpm makes it way better for daily driving as well! more usable torque & power. 6 speed manual, better interior, more fuel efficient etc

twinsiak General lines, they're going for more of an LS look than what the car represents. I suppose it's not the worst thing to happen just wish they would stick to their roots instead of catering to the luxury crowd. I just love the overdone styling of my '07 sti, there's nothing on the road like it. I can seriously sit and look at the lines on my car and get excited all over again how sexy it can be. where is the hatch version xD the wry hatch version on the last one was the first wrx hatch built in subarus entire history. and i can't understand people saying this looks like a standard family sedan. this is what the imprezas always looked like. when they bring out an sti it will hopefully look a little bit more sporty.

Yes regular Imrezas are standard family sedans!! but the WRX is a Sports car, that can be taken around the track, and can do 5 seconds 0-60..,This version resembles very little from its WRX predecessors, in terms of LOOKS, especially!! I owned 3 WRX 's and will always love them all!! STI will definitely look better, but it also cost 10k more! If you don't actually own a WRX, I don't think you would understand what I mean! As for the hatch version! Subarus been making more than ONE version of WRX since 2001....we had a regular sedan and a WRX wagons even the STI versions! In 2008 the 3rd generation WRX came out, this is where WRX hatch was introduced, which was a close resemblance of the wagon and basically the same thing, this gave the car more space and practicality!! AND most importantly a Choice to the buyers. Subarus are known for their sportiness + practicality. Taking the hatch/wagon WRX away, is a huge step backwards for the Subaru!!

Seems they addressed that on the WRX with the 2.0 DIT, however....the STi keeps the 2.5l with the ringland issues.

... i don't sell subarus. my 97 impreza obs is as core subaru as you can get. stock as anything. the only qualm i have with the new wrx is that they have it in auto.

yeah, they did and as an 15' wrx owner i not complaining about it :) the evo made the wrx/sti a better car.

jakubgt1 You sure as hell can! That's why I bought a 2001 Subaru Impreza RS COUPE! Best looking Impreza they ever built. That and the 22B. All the others since then have been overweight and bloated.
