I'm 30 years old and I just got my first ever gaming laptop ♥ this past weekend. M02, SSEEdit, ReSaver, Wrye Bash, SSKE, and Loot are all properly set up and purring happily along, and I have absolutely no idea how I'd have ever figured this all out without your channel. I installed Morroblivion according to their posted instructions, though I first had to make a separate Oblivion install, because I didn't want Morroblivion to interfere with the things I had for Oblivion. In retrospect, I'm aware that Wrye Bash, OBMM, & MO2 could all be used to keep Oblivion & Morroblivion separate with all of them using the same install of Oblivion. A tutorial about doing that sort of thing in an organized way would be really helpful. Thanks for the video.

Honestly very good tutorial. The other videos I have seen on Oblivion mod downloading; they just assume you know how to activate mods in Wrye Bash; meanwhile you actually show the important part of not only is the installation matter but so does the process to download and activate mods.

I understand that the process is only in case you use Wrye Bash to install mods, if instead you use MO2 for installation and Wrye Bash to make a bash patch, you don't need this configuration.

The mod archive is the zip folder it's in right? Also, the mod directory folder can be anywhere? I thought it had to be in the oblivion data folder?

Love these videos. Is there a reason to use Wrye Bash for mod installation and organization over MO2? I realize it is used to create a bashed patch (although I'm not entirely sure what that means yet), but for the things MO2 does do, is there a reason to use Wrye Bash instead in a given situation?

You by far are one of the best guides out there, however, you can even say "this is the way i do it, i dont care that your best friend says to never use this thing yadda yadda i dont care, this is the way i do and it works" But could you give a good 20-30 minute guide start to finish on Oblivion modding? like, if theres any wierdness you gotta do to Oblivion itself in steam before OBse, then obse, then wrye (i would just link your installation videos for wrye and things like that applicable) then essential mods for performance, like the unofficial patch, anything vital, like there was for new vegas like tick fix etc, then maybe a random mod to show the installation process from Nexus in succession? Cuz im modding oblivion for my first time and its a nightmare piecing together this entire process from 6 different youtubers who all do things differently lol

I always understood Wry Bash as a tool to create bashed patches for mods. How does using it as an installer work with or affect Mod Organizer 2? I have completely given over to MO2 (using your videos as a guide; excellent, by the way) and don't want to abandon it.
