Hi, Richard, Did you believe is possible to have Two instances of WSJT-X with 7610? One in 14MHz, and other at 7MHz for example? I order a 7610 after 1 month with 7300 :) 73 Fabiano CT7ABD
Hell I have trouble working with one radio let alone 2. Great Vid. I will have to save the link, so I can re-watch it again sometime soon. I would love to work you on 30 mtr sometime, but I'm guessing we are to close. I also run between 15-and 25 watts as a rule. made great contacts on 40 mtr at 15-20 watts who says you need 100 W. I've been to your beautiful little city, been there for work a few times. Love the park by the river. 73 mike NY0MN EN16
Has anyone had any success with running two of the same radios? I have two IC7610’s and want to run two sessions like this but just can not get the second radio to work with radio cat control. Cheers Scott VK3KJ
Hello again. Thjank you for your reply.Problem fixed. I have another question. How do you transmit at the same time. Do you choose every time your default output device?
SV8JNL No I didn’t have to do that. I am using windows 10 professional. The devices were correct for each radio and each software program. No need to change while operating.
@@HamRadioAdventures i have one pc and 2 rigs..i installed the usb drivers everything is ok ..but when i go to TX ..for example with icom 7600 i have to put default output the 7600 speaker..when i want to transmite with 7100 i have to select as default output 7100 speaker...both radios are connected with usb to my pc,otherwise the rig goes to TX without power. Do you have diferent configuration?
Hello and thank you for commenting here. Great question and I have not done it but I’m sure it’s possible. I saw some information on this on Facebook. It is the Icom RS-BA1 group and Jeffrey is the man to talk to. Good luck with it and I am going to be working on it someday. Some hams are just using Teamviewer . Thanks again and best 73!
@@HamRadioAdventures ok had figured out just after i asked the question.. the wsjtx is running CI-V cable and the remote utility is using the USB port. Diff com port. so when i switch freq on FT8 so does the radio vice versa. another thing is running a google desktop is a great remote tool, it feeds audio not like VNC. now i have 2 options running a desktop remote or running remotely via icom server away from home. Thanks buddy, i enjoy your videos.
