it's a circus poster! they're in a junkyard with a ton of oversized props of umbrellas, cans, etc. i also think the circus poster adds to the "colorful feline spectacle" of it all

You know. I've seen Cats a few times, and I've never been able to nail down their gayness, you know, because of their lack of having sex on stage. This video doesn't show that either! Boo. Last time I checked, cats also aren’t magicians or master criminals, and yet they are in this show. These cats are so anthropomorphized that I think it’s reasonable for someone to want to interpret them as having human-like romantic relationships with each other. And, I mean, the female cats all gather around the Rum Tum Tugger and mewl in delight as he hip thrusts into their faces, but no one is complaining about that being sexualized.
