he doesn't have the most aggressive play style, wizzy would rather be patient and go for the optimal options, nothing too fancy. regardless, he is the the best falcon and this was a pretty good set
Idk, that was entertaining to me as well, but I really appreciate how Wizzrobe played this matchup. Not approaching too often, but mixing that up to throw Hbox off. I guess I enjoy defensive playstyles. :o
I think HBox really underestimated Wizzy's patience and ability to zone efficiently. Wizzy did both of those things incredibly well, especially on Dreamland. Actually, counter-picking to Dreamland was probably a mistake, since Wizzy has always been good on that stage (in every Smash game). If anything HBox should have noticed the heavy use of platform zoning (especially by using variations of movement via Falcon's speed) and adjusted by counter-picking to another stage (Fountain of Dreams perhaps).
I'm Wondering It is the comments of a competitive match, and I am competitively analyzing it based upon my over decade of viewing experience and nearly a decade of playing experience. I thought it up and wrote it down because I felt it was worth sharing, and perhaps I could get other intelligent opinions on it (as oppose to your complaining). Do we call comments with analysis and opinions "annoying" now from someone with competitive experience now? Or are comments on RU-vid just for hate speech, stupid memes and complaining about people actually talking about what takes place in the video?
To go off of what Blur's commentary touched on, the Falcon-Jigglypuff match up is rough for Jigglypuff if Falcon uses his speed to move around a lot. Speed kills floaties when they can't make solid contact, especially when you mix in that wonderful platform zoning Wizzy did. HBox should have recognized that plus puff's inability to vertically cover space quickly and cover the high top platform is what hurt him the most. HBox should have recognized that and counter-picked to or a stage with lower platforms so he could safely poke Falcon from below (namely Fountain of Dreams), as well as adjusted by hanging out on the platforms more to make up for puffs' lack of vertical mobility.
Most people play Cool Guy Falcon. We all know him. He stomps and knees and throws all day, and everyone loves him. However, there is a darker Falcon, said to play so lame that he goes at least 5-5 against Peach and Puff. He is known as...*Shadow Falcon*. Shadow Falcon is only selected by people so young or naive that they have no idea what kind of Pandora's Box they are opening. Wizy is one such individual. Look at how he dismantles HBox's soul without remorse. He even cleans his glasses in between games to further his descent into the cesspool of lameness. He has done the impossible, and actually ran the clock of HBox's patience. (But seriously, real talk now: Mad props to Wizy for his amazing Falcon play in this match. I'm gonna take a page out of his book since I like playing defensively with non-floaties, as well, and try to study his play. I also take zero credit for the "Shadow Falcon" joke; that goes to Scar, when he commentated "the best worst match" Marth mirror at Evo 2016.)
15:07 How could you not? His gameplan and execution lead to such consistent results. His insistence on covering every option is sustainable in the long term. There'll be no 20GX without Wizzrobe
Wizzy wasnt playing to style, he was playing to win. Puff is basically a glass cannon, extreme damage output but very easy to kill if she shows a punishable gap. And thats where falcon's forte comes from, his punish game is strong both in damage and knockback wise. PS: Hbox is a sore loser; cant accept defeat even after so many 1st places in majors.
ciamarrajohn The inside of your head: "I just took the bait. Fuck. Okay lets act as if I didn't. Hahaha you're bad i r8 b8 of u 0/8 wow so terrible I didn't even take it pshhh nuh uh."
ya let's go wizzrobe!!! best falcon atm; there really isn't much of an argument against that anymore. as a falcon main this is not only amazing to watch and learn from, but is very inspirational.
Hbox shouldve went FOD when he noticed Wizzy dash dancing as much as he did. He also never changed his timing out of shield which lost him like 4 stocks
I've been telling u guys fox isn't the anwser to hbox (unless u can play like armada) he knows the matchup so well, just switching to fox like Westballz isn't gonna work just stick with ur main, people saying hbox is making 20xx happen because everyone goes fox against him like u don't have to go fox against him there r so many others characters that beat puff besides fox
